IFSP BLOCO G - SÃO PAULO - BRAZIL

CONTRACTOR: INSTITUTO FEDERAL DE SÃO PAULO (IFSP)

FEDERAL INSTITUTE OF SÃO PAULO (IFSP)

YEAR: 2015

ÁREA: 355,200 sq ft/ 32.999,16 m²

This building is for higher education that contains 11 floors

• Administration

• Classrooms

• Laboratories

• Libraries

• Living spaces

• Food court.

It is connected to the rest of the campus via covered walkways. The main purpose of the proposal is to include all elements of sustainability and accessibility: concrete struture with waffle slabs, closing with concrete blocks, lightweight aluminium frames with tempered glass, facades protected with brise soleil, stainless steel screens and elements coated in aluminum composite panels.

Roles:

• Development of basic design with a team of architects.

• Meetings with contractors for decision making regarding projects

• Team coordination

• Development of construction documents

• Coordinating interdiciplinary collaboration (electrical, structure, air conditioning, hydraulic)

• 3d rendering production

Design and projects for a teenager prison and social reabilitation center. Model project to be implanted in all Brazil.

The office was responsible for:

• Development of basic design.

• Meetings with contracts

• Government officials

• Social workers

• Church members for decision making regarding

• Development of construction documents.

YEAR: 2015

AREA: 27,900 sq ft/ 8.503,92m²

The proposal contemplates a building for the reception and screening of the juvenile offenders with the objective of helping their reintegration with society.

It includes:

• Areas for socio-educational support

• Civil and military police

• Area for judges and prosecutors

• Auditoriums

• Cafeterias and areas for temporary detention, parking lots

• External circulation are separated from the other areas, aiming to give security and privacy to the users.

Model project to be implanted in all Brazil.

AREA: 8.599,60 sq ft/ 2.621,16m²

The proposal contemplates a laboratory building. A complex pharmaceutical project with specific equipment and rooms.

The challenge was to meet all the needs with an execution value acessible to insight.
