Donegal Bay and Blue Stacks Festival 2016.
The 16th. annual Donegal Bay and Blue Stacks Festival runs from this Thursday, September 29th. to Sunday, October 9th. Festival events will take place in a host of towns and villages in South and South West Donegal including Ballyshannon, Ballybofey, Leghowney, Donegal, Dunkineely, Cill Chartha, Gleann Choilm Cille, Ardara and Glenties. The Festival is presented by Donegal County Council, with the assistance of The Arts Council An Comhairle Ealaion.
The Festival programme includes theatre, music ( traditional, classical, choral, jazz, pop ), street carnival, film and literary events. Participating artists include Balor Rep Theatre Company, Askeraden Theatre Group from Norway, Donegal Drama Circle, Dark Daughter Productions, Zoe Conway, Máirtín O’Connor, Donal Lunny, Na Mooney’s, Caitlín and Ciarán, Vincent Campbell, Donegal Voices, Bluestack Chorale, Kate O’Callaghan, Donegal Camerata String Ensemble, Gay McIntyre Trio, The 4 Of Us, Ka
