osa Rodarte is an American success story. When she immigrated from Mexico to the U.S. with her young family, she had a dream of creating a prosperous future. She found steady employment and bought a home, but after a divorce, she struggled to provide for herself and her children. That’s when a friend at church announced that she was going to school to become a Realtor®. Although Rosa didn’t speak English and knew nothing about real estate, she began attending classes in the evenings after work. She obtained her license and continued to work round the clock, maintaining her regular job while building her real estate business.

“Although I had no background in this area, I felt my personality and sense of commitment would be a good fit,” Rosa says. “I’ve always tried to have a positive outlook on life, and I think the same way about my work. I

believe that if you work hard, you can excel at anything you do.”

Rosa proved the truth of her words. Just two years after beginning her real estate career, she was running her own office as a licensed professional helping clients with real estate, loans, insurance and taxes.

Her upbeat spirit and tireless work ethic have propelled Rosa through varying market conditions with a focus on helping her clients achieve their real estate goals. “What I love most about being a Realtor® is the opportunity it offers me to meet new people and provide them with the best possible experience in the buying and selling of what is probably their greatest financial asset, their home. I especially get great satisfaction in helping my clients find their dream home.”

Rosa is grateful to the many people who have helped her hone her professional skills along the way. She says if she can become a Realtor®, anyone can do it. She pays it forward by helping others who want to learn the business. “I have had good fortune to have been coached and mentored by some of the best in the industry, and I continue to benefit from the ongoing mentoring of my broker. I believe that in this career, there is always room for growth. As times change, the market also changes, and I see this as an opportunity to learn. We are all mentors and can be influential to those that are starting their career in this industry.”

Today, Rosa is building her own brand alongside Better Homes and Gardens Real Estate Champions. Inspired by the American Dream Rosa’s love for helping people sets her apart from the competition. While she enjoys representing home buyers and sellers across the spectrum, she derives special happiness from working with first-time buyers. “In many instances, I have found that people who are new to home buying have a very limited understanding of the ins and outs and nuances of the process, and it can be scary for them. I enjoy providing personalized service to meet their needs, while walking them through the entire process until the transaction is finalized to their satisfaction. I love seeing the joy on my clients’ faces when I hand them the keys to their new home, or the net proceeds from the successful sale of their property.”

In real estate, there is no substitute for knowledge and experience. After more than 15 years in the industry, Rosa says she has developed a straightforward and reliable system for marketing her clients home for sale. Her marketing campaigns include still and video photography; print and digital advertising; and well-organized open houses. She has also associated herself with an exceptional team of experts in the industry that allow her to deliver great service and results.

Her robust repeat and referral business is a testament to Rosa’s professional excellence. She comments, “The greatest mark of my success ultimately comes from my clients recommending me to their family and friends. My clients’ stamp of approval is my greatest reward.”

One client who both sold and purchased property with Rosa had this to say about the experience: “Rosa helped me sell my house in less than one week! While Rosa works hard every day to serve her clients’ needs, she also seeks life balance through time with her family, her hobbies and service to her church community.

She and her husband, Paul, met at church, and they have been happily married for three years. Rosa loves spending

time with her first grandchild, Anthony, and is looking forward to celebrating his second birthday with the family at Disneyland. An avid reader, Rosa especially enjoys reading books about self-improvement, health and wholesome cooking. She reads her Bible daily. Rosa’s faith is the centerpiece of her life and family. She volunteers in support of both English and Spanish services, and she participates in service projects that assist people in need.

According to Rosa, one of the most important things she brings to her real estate practice is her profound belief in the American Dream of home ownership. “If you’re selling something and you want people to trust you, it’s important that people know that you believe in what you do.

I believe that owning a home is better than renting. I care about helping people, and I bring the same commitment and care that I give to my church community to my business as a Realtor®.”
