It is more than Jenna’s business acumen that makes her real estate representation so extraordinary; it is also her personal warmth and ability to connect with people from all walks of life. In a region known for its scenic beauty, outdoor adventure and diverse community, Jenna has become an ambassador for a lifestyle unlike any other.

After discovering and falling in love with Crested Butte on a road biking trip, Jenna was inspired to leave her life in Texas behind and begin a new one in this mountain enclave. “I decided to take a step back and go have an experience — to do something outside my comfort zone,” she says. “This is now my home. My favorite thing about the valley is that no matter how different we are from each other, those of us who came here all have things in common that attracted us to this place. It’s really special. And one of my favorite aspects of real estate is that I have met my best friends through the business.”

Equipped with a degree from the University of Texas as well as a real estate license, Jenna applied her winning combination of soft skills and meticulous attention to detail to a career in real estate. It was no easy task to establish herself in this out-of-the-way market, but she made her case to Broker Bud Bush at Bluebird Real Estate, and he gave her a chance to prove her merit and ambition. “It meant a lot to me that my broker gave me a shot,” she says. Bud’s gamble paid off, as Jenna is now a market leader and household name in Crested Butte real estate.

This enterprising young professional has made her mark on Crested Butte not only as a top-producing agent with a reputation for excellence, but also as the longtime record holder for the region’s highest sale — $7.4 million. “I remember when the client came to me and said, ‘We’re going to sell our house, and we want you to list it.’ It was a huge privilege. The home was the first of its kind in the area and a big number for Crested Butte. It is an extraordinary

home, and everyone involved put their heart and soul into the design. In real estate, you’re not just selling a product. A home means something to people — you’re selling someone’s dream. It was not just a sale to me. It was such a journey, and I learned so much from that experience.”

The magic Jenna conjures to make big dreams come true for her clients begins with her personal mantra: “I treat people like people. I take the call at 5:00 a.m. or late at night because I care. She has also earned the appreciation and loyalty of a large community of satisfied clients. “I feel I adopted by all of these people who have become my dear friends and are like family,” she says.
