This husband and wife team met in real estate, and together, they are area specialists with a passion for assisting families through the process of buying or selling property in the community they call home. Darrel and Sandra are also seasoned investors who are well-qualified to assist clients with profitable real estate opportunities. Last year, Darrel and Sandra purchased a HomeVestors of America franchise, giving them access to a network of real estate investors that purchase homes quickly for cash. Darrel explains, “We buy and sell investments locally, but this also helps homeowners who may be in distress, who have deferred home maintenance or need to sell and relocate quickly.”

For Darrel and Sandra, real estate is a family enterprise.

In fact, they named their company G5 Realty Group in honor of what was then the “Gomez Five”: Darrel, Sandra and their three daughters. Then a fourth daughter came along, so today, G5 stands for “Girls Five.” One of Darrel and Sandra’s daughter assists with open houses and other important tasks, and they recently hired a niece to help with production coordination. “We want to be that type of family that is tight-knit in the community,” Darrel says. “I grew up in Rancho Cucamonga, and I have a lot of friends and family in the area. We take pride in this community

and everything we have here, and we want to convey that in the way we conduct business.”

An impressive 90 percent of Darrel and Sandra’s business derives from referrals. “I think the biggest reason is that we don’t sit down and explain a transaction as if it is just paperwork,” Sandra says. “We stay in contact with people. We connect with people, and we really go out of our way to help them out. We explain when a situation is good or bad for them, and we stay in contact with people long after the transaction.”
