A true citizen of the world, Cibie brings a cosmopolitan point of view to Palm Beach real estate. She was born in Peru, where she became trilingual in English, Spanish and French. She went on to reside in Canada before ultimately immigrating to the U.S., and she is a global traveler who loves exploring diverse cultures. “I’ve gone back to Peru
every year, and I visit France almost every year. I’ve done a lot of traveling and have experienced the foods and all the things that connect people, and language also helps to minimize any types of borders. Florida is very diverse, and I love being able to bond with people over the things that are natural to them.”
Cibie is not only a woman of diverse cultures; she is also a woman of varying talents. She holds bachelor’s degrees in industrial relations and sociology, and she achieved a successful first career in human resources management. Then she turned her love of baking into a thriving pastry business. When she took up real estate, she saw the opportunity to merge her corporate background with her creative flair in one, ideal profession. “I’ve always had a passion for design and art, and I’m also very detail oriented. What I love most about real estate is that it’s very dynamic. No transaction is exactly the same — there are different clients, different languages, and I get to use all of my skills. I found that my HR skills were very transferrable, since it is customer-service based. People are looking for someone they can depend on and who can give them accurate answers to close the loop on a problem. Working at a high level in aerospace, that was deeply engrained in me.”
Just a few years into her real estate career, Cibie was in such demand, that she began
building a team designed to maintain the highest service levels for every client. Today, The Cahur Group at Keller Williams Realty in Jupiter is known as “Palm Beach and Martin County’s most innovative real estate team.” She is joined by six agents and a personal assistant, all of whom are women. “I formed this team in order to share the wealth of knowledge I’ve learned and to share leads for all to partake. They are all so sweet and knowledgeable, and their clients love them. It’s hard to find a group of women who want to give it their all every day. We have team meetings where we go for a meal and share best practices and ideas. It’s very productive and also fun to share business and a nice meal together.”
