has some sage advice for buyers. “You marry the house, and date the rates. Rates always change. If you can purchase a house for 10 to 20 percent less in this market, you can always refinance and get a lower rate down the road.”

Growing up in the South Bay, Bill was the youngest of six siblings raised by parents who were both physicians. One of the important things he learned from them was to make his health and self-care a priority. He says that getting eight hours of sleep each night is critical to showing up each day with a positive spirit and the presence of mind to solve problems for the people who rely on him. “It keeps you on an even keel, and gives you the energy to make good judgment calls.”
