From Boca Raton to Miami, Ani’s expertise extends to her understanding of the South Florida East Coast’s waterways and boating access, as well as her familiarity with the exclusive clubs, private schools, fine dining, shopping and entertainment offerings that draw residents to this distinctive community. Fort Lauderdale is a major yachting center and one of the nation’s biggest tourist destinations that has been very well developed since World War II, when Fort Lauderdale became a major U.S. Navy base at Port Everglades. Most of the homes Ani represents for sale or to buyers are waterfront properties, either beachfront or on the intracoastal waterways that require an extensive knowledge of the depth and width of canals to accommodate different size vessels. Fort Lauderdale has been flourishing in the last few years; the younger sibling of Miami has had a lot of companies and buyers moving in.

Ani’s versatility as an agent is further enhanced by her ability to speak multiple languages and communicate with people from different countries. Ani’s professional appeal runs deeper than just her real estate expertise. She is also a person of profound character who is known for her integrity

and kindness. Born in Giurgiu, Romania under communist rule, Ani’s childhood was marked by repression and deprivation. But she remembers blessings too. “I had a wonderful family support system. My parents were very hard-working people and instilled the same mindset in their children from a young age. My mom’s best advice: ‘Always tell the truth, because truth comes out as oil in water.’”

At 21 years of age, Ani left everyone and everything she knew to take her shot at the American Dream. She arrived in Miami with a visa to work for Norwegian Cruise Line and the tenacity to succeed. Despite the dizzying glamour of life on a cruise ship, Ani held onto her values of hard work and honesty. She was later hired at the opening of the Seminole Hard Rock Casino, where she further refined her customer service skills, along with the nuances of confidentiality and accountability. After buying her first home, Ani became intrigued by the power of real estate, and put everything she had into her new career.

“Love and Compassion Inspire Me.”

“Today, Ani channels her success into making life extraordinary for her son and for her community. “I adore my 10-year-old son. He is my priority and my only family member here in the U.S. We enjoy time with friends at the field, either soccer, football or baseball, at the beach, snorkeling, we go fishing, we watch football, we go biking and rollerblading.” After losing two family members to COVID, Ani says, “The compassion and love of my friends kept me balanced after all those tragedies and made me realize how important but fragile life is. I made a promise to be grateful for my health and my ability to improve the community”

Ani is a member of Women on the Verge, a branch of Big Brothers Big Sisters, with a mission of helping youth achieve their full potential. The group is known for its “Party With a Purpose” gatherings. They raise money for scholarships that

fund both college tuition and vocational training and expenses. Ani also volunteers at the Humane Society, where she and her son have adopted three dogs since living in Florida.

If you ask Ani what inspires her most, her answer is clear: “Love and compassion motivate me,” she says. “My job is more than just selling a house and the bricks that built it. I need to know a person’s priorities for their lifestyle and family so I can match them with the right area, home, school or entertainment venues. I feel very fortunate to be here and honored to represent my clients. My ultimate goal is to see them with a content smile on their faces.”
