Eagle was chosen for this project based on our production capacity and product quality, which utilized high-quality steel forms. The project involved a six-level parkade structure with 525 railcars of precast transported from Red Deer to New Westminster, B.C. Eagle developed a rail logistics plan, installed two 20T overhead cranes, and implemented impact testing and securement designs for safe transport. The project achieved an average of over 18 pieces erected daily, with a maximum of 30 pieces in a 10-hour day. The exterior spandrel panels used an architectural formliner.
