Group Benefits Account Representative Eagle Bay Financial Services Ltd. is a thriving and growing independent Group Benefits & Retirement agency with a vibrant and enthusiastic team of professionals. Our collaborative work environment serves clients throughout the Lower Mainland, Fraser Valley and British Columbia. Position Summary The successful candidate will be responsible for working with the group benefits team to manage a block of group benefits accounts. Travel to regions of British Columbia will be required. Dedication to the highest level of customer service, self-discipline, diligence and a high level of attention to detail are key requirements for success in this role. The position offers opportunity to grow and advance. Key Accountabilities • Client visits (group presentations, employee education and meetings with executives and plan administrators) • Request, analyze and recommend plan pricing proposals (quotes) from Insurers • Collect, review and revise confidential employee data • Assist in preparation for client renewal meetings (e.g. benefit summaries, cost containment strategies, billing statements, etc.) • Presentation of renewals • Manage the implementation of contract amendments • Assist in creation of reports and spreadsheets (e.g. data entry, formulas, comparisons, etc.) • Maintain and update company contact records • Support marketing & communication initiatives with clients and prospects on an ongoing basis • Complete other duties as required.
