CLOVER OVER COVID Y. S. Yao
post-corona architecture
Background—coexistence
Now that infectious diseases are constantly changing, people are gradually coexisting with the virus instead of simply isolating the infected. When the epidemic is severe, various gatherings will be carried out online, but in some cases, people may not be able to avoid the need for physical , face-to-face team activities, or during an important period, in order to maintain health, some people choose to isolate themselves to avoid exposing to the virus, this design came into being for such conditions—isolation for healthy people.

Flexibility
Due to the short-term, temporary, unitized, and mass-construction characteristics of space requirements, I think containers are very suitable as a response to design materials and structures.

Humanize—Work Space & Rest Space
I think that if you live in a limited space for a long time, it is very important to distinguish between work and rest spaces, which occupy almost the whole daily life, so that the space converted can correspond to the state of routine.
View—Against Loneliness Monotonous
The most difficult part of isolation is the small space and the sense of loneliness. Therefore, in this design, I paid special attention to comfort and eyecontact with neighborhood, so that the space has sight penetration without completely losing privacy.

SITE & FLOW
Site
The base is located in the grassy open space on the campus of National Cheng Kung University in Tainan. It is a display space for flying aircraft. With developed transportation and frequent academics and activities. It is a wonderful site to test this design.
The shared space formed by the cluster is divided by glass to make a space for safe face-to-face communication with others. .

Conclusion
The epidemic is drastically changing the the world. In the face of the prolonged epidemic, how to plan and design to cope with the new daily life is the thinking brought to me by this design process. Last but not
least, the cluster shape in this design is like blooming clovers on the grass, so my title names CLOVER OVER COVID, I hope that with small changes, we can slightly overcome the epidemic.
