The year 2020 marked the beginning of yet another promising phase of the Empowerment for Life (E4L) Program after the Phase III. The Phase IV, spanning 2020-2023, has the overall intent of strengthening civil society actors to contribute to increased equity and sustainable development in Ghana.
In Phase III, partners worked to strengthen the organizational capacity, technical skills and ability of 240 local CBOs to promote a vibrant civil society that improve the rights and livelihoods of people in Northern Ghana. The current phase thus seeks to ensure that the intervention remains sustainable and that the results achieved in the form of a stronger local civil society will catalyze change beyond the groups themselves and benefit more people through increased focus on the national level.
Kindly take a look at some of our key achievements and lessons learnt in facilitating development in Northern Ghana.
