Book Description
Hiking can be such fun. I went on two very different hikes. One was in Portland, Oregon, and the other was in Athens, Georgia. In this book, you will be able to see how different these two hikes were from the photographs in the book. You can also learn how you need to plan if you would like to go on a hike. Ever seen a tree that looks like a graceful dancer? There is a picture of one in this book. It is amazing.

I went on two hiking trips this summer. One was in Athens, Georgia, and one was in Portland, Oregon. The two were very different experiences. Georgia was very hot and the terrain was relatively flat. Oregon was cooler more pleasant weather, but with more hills to climb. I had to prepare for each hike by choosing the correct gear, clothes, and map. I had to know where I was going and what to expect before I headed out. It is important to be prepared for your hike.
