We are striving for excellence in all areas. We are unapologetically ambitious for our students and are determined that each and every student will be able to learn, the most powerful knowledge across our five and seven year curriculum.
Our mission is to prepare all students for the opportunities before them so that everything is possible. We want all of our students to aspire and to be educated through to the end of our Sixth Form before they continue their education at university, or seek new opportunities in apprenticeships or employment.
Every student who joins us belongs to our Parker Academy family; we are a warm strict school with clear, high expectations. Students are taught good manners, respectful behaviour and etiquette. We care about this and want to prepare our students to become courageous advocates in society.
Our staff are the greatest resource in our school; our teachers are passionate about the subjects they teach and are unfaltering in their determination to inspire students and teach them the very best knowledge that there is to learn. We have teams of specialist support staff who wrap care around our students and ensure that they are safe, happy and well. Enrichment is the entitlement of each and every student at our school - we want all of our learners to participate in clubs and societies and to seize every opportunity. It is a combination of this excellent teaching, support and care which helps our students flourish inside and outside the classroom so that each and every one of them becomes the very best they can be.

OUR E-ACT FAMILY
We are proud to be one of 38 E-ACT academies in England. Our community includes over 26,000 pupils and 3,500 teachers and non-teaching professionals across the country.
As an E-ACT academy we share ideas with other academies in the trust in ways other schools may not be able to. Our pupils and staff also feel part of something much bigger.
We work closely with our family academy E-ACT DSLV Academy who we share E-ACT Daventry Sixth Form with.

Student leadership lies at the very centre of E-ACT Parker Academy. We have an active student leadership team within Key Stage 3 and 4, and Sixth Form has their own student council.
Students are involved in decision making on several levels, including the recruitment of new staff and representing the young people of Daventry at the local council offices.
As well as focusing on academic excellence, our relationship with external associations help develop particular skillsets for each and every student.
The Elephant Group are a headteacher led charity, committed to improving fair access to top universities, through the collaboration between school leaders, universities and wider invested partners. The top third universities for our top third students..
We are pleased to be working with Unifrog to support our strategy of raising aspirations. This careers software enables students and staff to work collaboratively, empowers students to evidence their personal development, provides resources for investigating careers, labour market information and much more.
Think for the future provides mentoring for our student based on behaviour and resilience, providing students skills to overcome barriers to their learning and enhance their engagement in Academy life.
Football Beyond Borders works with young people from disadvantaged backgrounds who are disengaged at school, helping them finish school with the skills and grades to make a successful transition into adulthood. FBB provides long-term intensive support, built around relationships and young people’s passions, in the classroom and beyond.
We are pleased to be a partner school with Northampton Town FC, providing students opportunities to access the community club via tournaments and visits to matches.
We also work with the following organisations: James Dyson Foundation, Cummins, University of Northampton, University of Birmingham, Aspire Higher and many more!
Supporting our students to achieve
We are very aware that all students are unique, and therefore they are treated as individuals within a collective group learning environment. Students of all abilities are able to participate in our comprehensive programme of extension and personalised learning classes.
In response to the diversity of learning, emotional and physical needs of our students, a range of support is available through some of the following packages:

Specialised equipment to allow all students to access the curriculum
Relevant information, advice and guidance from external agencies
Clubs run before school, at lunchtime, after school and in the school holidays to support student progress.
We know how important supporting our student’s mental health and wellbeing is and we enable them to foster the readiness and ability to learn. We give our students the knowledge and understanding to promote a healthy body and mind lifestyle.
