OPENING MINDS, OPENING DOORS

Here at E-ACT Parker Academy, our focus is to put the care and support of children at the heart of everything we do, because we know that happy children succeed.
Our students are always encouraged to strive to be the best they can be. We believe in delivering excellence in teaching and providing our students with opportunities to reach their full potential.
We believe high aspirations for all pupils will allow them to flourish as lifelong learners and challenge young people to strive for personal excellence in all they do. The school community will challenge every pupil to aspire for academic excellence and we will provide a 6th Form provision which will allow access to Russell Group Universities.
I will look forward to welcoming you and your child to our Academy soon.
Miss Andrea White HeadteacherWe offer a personalised curriculum that nurtures the talents of each individual. Our curriculum covers traditional academic subjects but also meets the needs of the modern world.
At E-ACT Parker Academy, we don’t just teach your child to dream, we also teach your child how to make their dreams a reality. To make this happen, we will expose your child to a broad range of subjects and experiences to help them find out where their passion lies. Our curriculum includes the following subjects:
Opening minds, opening doors
Our goal is to stimulate a love of learning for life and develop the confidence and

We value our students’ input into how the school operates and where we can develop our practice. The importance of consulting students about their views on their learning is an integral part of the success of the E-ACT Parker Academy.
We have a variety of student groups such as prefects and subject ambassadors. These student groups encourage our students to voice their opinions which teaches them important skills such as debating, leadership and teamwork.
We work closely with Prospects to support our students with their career inspirations and aspirations and our whole school motto of ‘Dream Big’. Their experienced team of Level 6 CEIAG qualified advisors meet with every student to support and develop their individual goals.
We are pleased to be working with Unifrog for the first time in 2022 to support our strategy of raising aspirations. This careers software enables students and staff to work collaboratively, empowers students to evidence their personal development, provides resources for investigating careers, labour market information and much more.
Think for the future provides mentoring for our student based on behaviour and resilience, providing students skills to overcome barriers to their learning and enhance their engagement in Academy life.
Football Beyond Borders works with young people from disadvantaged backgrounds who are disengaged at school, helping them finish school with the skills and grades to make a successful transition into adulthood. FBB provides long-term, intensive support, built around relationships and young people’s passions, in the classroom and beyond.
We are pleased to be a partner school with Northampton Town FC, providing students opportunities to access the community club via tournaments and visits to matches.
We also work with the following organisations: James Dyson Foundation, Cummins, University of Northampton, University of Birmingham, Aspire Higher and many more!
We are very aware that all students are unique and, therefore, treated as an individual within a collective group learning environment. Students of all abilities are able to participate in our comprehensive programme of extension and personalised learning classes
In response to the diversity of learning, emotional and physical needs of our students, a range of support is available through some of the following packages:
Additional Literacy and Numeracy programmes
Specialised equipment to allow all students to access the curriculum
Relevant information, advice and guidance from external agencies Clubs at before school, lunchtime, after school and in the school holidays, to support student progress
Not only do we focus on academic excellence, we also work with different associations to help develop particular skillsets for each and every student.
I was really excited to be able to train in mental health first aid. I’m passionate about students and their learning so I’m really pleased to be able to add the extra support that most students need at some point in order to reach their full potential.
