Our dedicated teachers go above and beyond on a daily basis to create a nurturing and inclusive environment that fosters intellectual curiosity, creativity, and personal growth.
We are committed to providing our students with the skills, knowledge, and values they need to become responsible citizens and leaders in their communities once they leave our academy. We believe in developing the whole person, and we offer a wide range of extracurricular activities and enrichment programs to support our students’ interests and talents.

OUR E-ACT FAMILY
We are proud to be one of 28 E-ACT academies in England. Our community includes over 18,000 pupils and 2,300 teachers and non-teaching professionals across the country.
As an E-ACT academy we share ideas with other academies in the trust in ways other schools may not be able to. Our pupils and staff also feel part of something much bigger.
We have a great partnership with our family academies; E-ACT North Birmingham and E-ACT Shenley who are a short distance away.

Student Voice
At E-ACT Heartlands Academy our students play an active role in how the academy works. We have an Academy Council and Student Ambassadors which represent the views of students to staff.
At E-ACT Heartlands Academy we are encouraged to be ambitious and to work hard so that we achieve our potential. As an ambassador I have also had the opportunity to lead on events such as Culture Day which was fantastic.

Student
E-ACT Heartlands Academy has been recognised and awarded for a number of academic and extra-curricular initiatives.
We were awarded Silver in the School Games Mark - a government-led award scheme facilitated by the Youth Sport Trust to reward and recognise school engagement in the School Games and celebrate keeping young people active.
E-ACT Heartlands Academy was shortlisted in the Education Business Awards 2021 for Outstanding Progress having achieved a progress 8 score of 1.46 in the 2018-19 academic year.
We were named secondary and overall school of the year at the 2020 Tes Schools Awards. Judges were impressed by the academy’s ability to overcome social, cultural and economic barriers to achieve fantastic results, which have seen the academy placed in the top 0.1% of secondary schools in the country.
We were awarded SSAT Educational Outcomes Award 2019 for exceptional student attainment, closing the gap, and student progress.
OUR COMMUNITY SPACE
Our academy works closely with local businesses and charities to support our local community. Our community hub offers a wide range of services to cater for a variety of needs for our community.
