TO E-ACT CREST ACADEMY WELCOME
I am thrilled to introduce myself as the Headteacher of E-ACT Crest Academy. It is with great honour and enthusiasm that I take on this role, as I feel privileged to lead the fantastic staff and students, with a focus not only on academic achievement but also the holistic development of each student.
At E-ACT Crest Academy, we believe that each child is a unique individual. We will therefore strive to provide them with education that equips them with the skills and knowledge they need to succeed in an ever-changing world. We will ensure that your child will be able to come to the academy every day into a stimulating, calm, purposeful and safe learning environment, where they will thrive, be independent and resilient.
Here at E-ACT Crest, we believe in high expectations for ourselves as teachers and for your child. We strive to give every child a broad, balanced and enjoyable curriculum for them to achieve their potential and experience learning, both inside and outside of the classroom, in a range of creative ways, as we have a commitment to inclusive teaching.
I am excited about the journey ahead and the possibilities it holds for your child at this school, as together we can create an inclusive and supportive community where every individual is valued and respected.

OUR E-ACT FAMILY
We are proud to be one of 38 E-ACT academies in England. Our community includes over 26,000 pupils and 3,500 teachers and non-teaching professionals across the country.
As an E-ACT academy we share ideas with other academies in the trust in ways other schools may not be able to. Our pupils and staff also feel part of something much bigger.
We have a great partnership with our family academy E-ACT Braintcroft Academy – who I am sure you already know are across the road from us.

Not only do we focus on academic excellence, we also work with different associations to help develop particular skillsets for each and every student.
We are proud to have two dedicated Greenhouse Sports coaches that support our students with their mentoring. Our coaches bring out the best in our students, giving them new found confidence and passion.
The Elephant Group is helping us to increase the chance for our students to go to Russell Group Universities, such as Oxford and Cambridge. They are helping us to create partnerships with various organisations to provide exceptional experiences.
The Positive Transformation Group are connecting us with successful people who will show our students the opportunities available to them, including degree level apprenticeships to successful organisations.
The local authority is stretched in supporting a large number of adults who do not speak English and who need a lot of support to get them skilled in certain aspect of British life. We are working closely with Brent to develop a programme to help adults get into employment and to support our local community.
Fujitsu is supporting us to understand the demand of the business world in their recruitment matrix, which is helping us to develop our curriculum. Our students will have the opportunity to be mentored to learn valuable skills to be successful in the business world.
STUDENT LEADERSHIP
Our students have the potential to influence the academy environment and the behaviour of their fellow pupils by becoming advocates for positive change in the school community. Our key aims are to:

Develop opportunities for students’ views to be taken into account
We provide access to a wide range of support for our students, which allows them to deal with challenges whilst they manifest themselves, continuing to thrive and succeed at school.
