If you have friends and family coming to visit or stayover, please notify the site team and your housemates.
Kindly note no guests under the age of 16 are allowed to stay overnight.

Dr. Gu from the Vallance Centre will be visiting MSV throughout the year to talkabout your wellbeing. If you need to discuss anything related to your health or mental wellbeing, please feel free to register with the Vallance Centre.

Recycle with Dwell
We have waste chutes on every floor at MSV. You do not have to separate your recyclables:
Cardboard Glass General waste Food Waste
Any large cardboard that won’t fit down the chuteplease leave outside your flat door for our cleaning team to collect and dispose of.
Fire Safety
We want to make sure you enjoy yourself whilst you stay with us and make sure you aren’t causing any accidental safety issues within your residence. We've dropped a few tips below in regards to healthand safety within your new home.
Knowing Your Assembly Point

Here are some tips:
• Do not tamper with or prop open fire doors
• Do not leave your cooking unattended
• Do not cover the heaters in the bedroom with wet clothing
• Do not overload plug sockets or extension leads
• Do not cover extension leads with clothing or other items
Report any faults to our maintenance team either by visiting the reception, reporting on the Dwell Student Portal or by emailing msv@dwellstudent.co.uk
If You Hear The Alarm:
When you hear the fire alarm activating, you should vacate the property immediately.
Manchester Student Village operates a one out all out policy.
Fire Drills and Testing
Fire Alarms are tested every Friday afternoon.
Fire Drills are planned throughout the year. The site team will notify you via email before a drill is due but will not disclose the date or time.

These clubs are a new one for this year! We will be looking to get people signed up to join some dwell clubs and help to keep you entertained with some new hobbies! All through the year we host events, pizza party nights, spin the wheel competitions and so much more so keep an eye out for dates and posters to come and join in the fun!
