Elgin Open Gardens The scenic Elgin Valley will again host visitors to its 20th Elgin Open Gardens event over two weekends to benefit local charities. There will be open gardens ranging from large established country gardens (some over 50 years old) to young, recently planted gardens in villages and on smallholdings. A number of gardens will have plants for sale, and some such as Keurbos and Fresh Woods will be offering unusual and interesting plants difficult to find elsewhere.
