Every season, we pack the van up with all of our new boards and camera equipment in search of hidden gems to ride. This time, we trekked from Los Angeles, up to one of the most skated cities in the world, San Fransisco. As always, the discoveries were exciting, the laughs with friends were memorable, and the fun we had testing out new boards was epic.

DOWNHILL LONGBOARDS Dusters downhill longboards are designed with speed, comfort and stability in mind and have been crafted and tested by some of the best riders out there. We believe that all types of longboarding should be recognized and that the ladies and gentlemen out there bombing hills at 60mph deserve a standing ovation for innovating skateboarding and taking it to the next level. This seasonâ&#x20AC;&#x2122;s downhill lineup is our homage to downhill skateboarding and theyâ&#x20AC;&#x2122;ll get any skater hyped to get out there and keep pushing forward.

Longboards - Downhill

Kodiak is Dusters first true downhill attacker! Due to its success, we now introduce the Kodiak in green with red 78A 65mm Kryptonics. It has a solid directional shape with W-Concave and a slight rocker. This is the perfect choice for someone who’s looking to get the most stability while bombing at high speeds straight down the highway. With routered wheel wells and double barrel bushings in the 180mm 50° Slant reverse kingpin trucks, leave your worries in the wind as you enjoy the steady ride. We also offer the Kodiak with the same shape in a smaller package; the Kodiak Mini is intended for all the groms out there getting into downhill. Last but not least, the Urso is our latest downhill board with an original street inspired shape, W-Concave, Red 78A 65mm Kryptonics Star Trac wheels and Slant 180mm reverse kingpin trucks. This blue beast standing at 37” tall promises the rider balance and speed, sought by the most experienced veterans.

DROP-DOWN LONGBOARDS Also inspired by speed and downhill skateboarding, we have the drop-down style series featuring a shape that creates a valley between the front and rear trucks, getting your feel as close to the ground as possible for longer power slides and more control while bombing hills at high speeds. The Seek drop-down longboard is a symmetrical shape and drop-down/top mount mold that acts as a hybrid between tech and free-ride, perfect for the entry level downhill rider. Featuring original artwork by Matt Miller and mix-matched trucks and wheels, this board is sure to make heads turn. The Medusa also features a drop-down directional body shape with art by Matt Miller. The Aqua features a fine anodized metallic paint finish to give this board a classy/ high end look while giving you the control and performance you’re looking for. DROP-THROUGH LONGBOARDS Dusters drop-through longboards have a similar concept to their drop-down siblings. The drop-though boards are original in the way their trucks mount to the deck. Instead of mounting the truck to the base of the board like a standard skateboard traditionally would, the trucks make their way through a window to the top of the board. This technology gets the board closer to the ground for more control at higher speeds. These boards are an ideal choice for someone looking to go fast or simply have a smooth, long-distance ride without feeling like they just took a trip to the gym.

Longboards - Drop-Through

Dusters Channel drop-through longboards provide that elusive balance between a full-blown downhill set up, a long distance pusher and a boardwalk cruiser. They provide a good mix of functional technology to put you in full control at all speeds. The Teaky model features exotic teak wood on the top and bottom followed by pearlized ink print, golden trucks and logos, and off-white wheels making this board a slick piece of art. The Channel Sepia offers the same shape as its Teaky sibling in a bigger package with bamboo top and bottom sheets and a graphic wrapped back truck for extra style points that is sure get your buddies jealous.

Longboards - Drop-Through

The Regrowth drop-through features one of our most popular symmetrical shapes with our w-concave mold and slight rocker. Such features will help you charge at high speed down hills with great stability and control. The original artwork by Matt Miller and graphics on the rear truck and grip tape ads that extra flavor to this stylish ride. Sunken is a drop-through board that provides an elusive balance between a full-blown downhill set up, a long distance pusher and a boardwalk cruiser. The shape paired with a killer illustration by Mateu Velasco and custom high-quality ink jet printed grip tape is sure to make this one a must have for this summer.

Longboards - Drop-Through

We have collaborated with artist Mateu Velasco to design the Dusters Pena drop-through longboard. Its ultra light carbon hollow core technology by combining a honeycomb core with carbon fiber, which has the strength of steel at a fraction of the weight. The core is constructed by sandwiching the honeycomb core with carbon fiber and placing it within the die cut veneer stack. This construction results in a weight reduction of 15 percent compared to a board of the same shape. After combining the deck with the our 180 mm magnesium Slant reverse kingpin trucks, the Dusters Pena Lite is one of the lightest completes on the market. You’ll be blown away the first time you grab it and even more stoked when you’re pushing through the streets or charging downhill.

The Wake was designed for speed! The directional shape with medium concave is sturdy and comfortable at high speeds. The drop-through construction gives the rider a lower center of gravity for an easier push with more stability at full speed. The Wake Kryptonics Pink features the Limited Edition Pink 70mm 80A Kryptonics Star Trac wheels, the Wake turquoise has a smaller shape for more portable usage and the mini wake is even smaller, standing at 32 inches tall for groms getting into longboarding. The Kraken has been a fan favorite and a best seller over the past year, so we gave our fans what they wanted with a Kraken drop-through complete. Features include graphic wrapped trucks, a functional freeride shape with a mellow kicktail and premium 71mm contrasting yellow colored wheels for an extra pop of color. This collection of unique hand painted ocean inspired artwork is straight from Honolulu, Hawaii created by the talented Colleen Wilcox. To the right, we have the Mapuche, giving our classic drop through shape a tribal, colorful feel by artist Daniella Manini.

Collaboration - Dave Hackett

We proudly introduce the Hackman series, taking us back to the roots of skateboarding with legend, pioneer and 1978 US Open Pool Riding Champion, Dave “Hackman” Hackett. You may have seen Hackman in various skateboard movies such as the award-winning documentary, “DogTown and Z-Boys”. These boards feature Kryptonics wheels, unique shapes and epic designs that are sure to make a bold statement. Honoring the origins of skateboarding, we incorporated the nostalgia of California’s surfing and pool skating heritage. Working one on one with Hackman, we arrived at these custom shapes that will get people talking. The 34” longboard with Red 78A Kryptonics Star Trac wheels and Slant 180mm reverse kingpin trucks calls for textbook carves and a smooth ride. With a 9” width and White 91A Kryptonics Star Trac wheels, the Cruiser is ideal for shredding pools and cruising to your local liquor-mart. Both boards feature Olive wood ply and Hackman’s signature. Collaboration - Endless Summer

John Van Hamersveld is an icon in Southern California culture, or maybe more aptly described asa creator of icons, credited with many graphics and images that identify with the West Coast. His poster for Bruce Brown’s classic surf film “The Endless Summer” is an image that nearly everyone has seen, an emblem for surf culture itself. Dusters California commemorates the 50th anniversary of “The Endless Summer” with our latest collaboration. This quintessential surf film made a massive impact not only on the surf and skate community, but also on pop culture as a whole, effecting millions over the past 50 years. These boards are perfect for cruising during your travels while you are in search of the perfect wave. The longboard shape is inspired from the Wake series of longboards. The Wake was designed for speed! The directional shape with medium concave is sturdy and comfortable at high speeds. In conjunction with the celebration of the Grateful Dead’s 50th anniversary, Dusters California, teamed up with the legendary rock band to offer their world renowned images across three different shapes. With each board offering its own unique tribute to the band, our team couldn’t be more thrilled how they all turned out! Feeling psychedelic and looking for a board that fits the vibe? The Grateful Dead Bears 42” board fits the bill. With clear broadcast grip, a graphic wrapped truck and matching wheels, this colorful ride is as timeless as the Dead’s music. Keeping it fun and colorful, the Grateful Dead 31” Ice Cream Kid board boasts a custom v-ply top that includes a wood burned Dusters X Grateful Dead logo with clear broadcast grip. The Cindy INAP (It’s not about pretty) is a pool inspired board featuring metallic gold rails for longer boardslides on pool coping, artwork by Cindy herself and custom leopard grip tape, perfect for all the girl groms out there looking to shred. The Cazh is one of Dusters staple cruisers that offer a fun and mellow ride. Featuring the Slant 5.0” trucks and 1/4” riser pads to enhance your carving experience. The Cazh Gold features the classic design with gold foil/inks and swirl gold wheels. The Orange Cazh was one of our first designs at Dusters and it’s back with an updated shape and the Limited Edition Orange 84A Kryptonics wheels, which are perfect for bowls and snake runs. SURF INSPIRED CRUISERS We decided to honor skateboarding’s biggest original influence by designing a surf inspired series for all the amphibians out there looking to carve up water and land. With the Kosher’s fishtail and the Glassy Flow’s lightweight fiberglass and wood construction, both board styles have taken elements that shapers have been using for decades to construct surfboards. By using these surf inspired constructions, any surfer would be stoked to take them out to catch a few concrete waves.

Cruisers - Surf Inspired

The Kosher features a longer wheelbase for a stable surf feel with comfortable control for hitting the hills and carving the streets. With a longer and wider shape than it’s CMYK sibling, the Turquoise Kosher is a bigger cruiser, giving you the control and speed of a longboard but with the portability of a your go-to cruiser. The CMYK features, neon colors and a graphic wrapped truck, which makes this board stylish and fun to ride. Similar to the 33” Kosher, the Glassy Flow combines the feel of a longboard with the size and functionality of a cruiser.
