THE ORIGIN STORY
The origin story is the backstory that informs the identity and motivations of heroes and villains in a comic book. Portfolio will follow a similar concept.
You have been successful in your field, you had some cash. You had an idea or something had been bothering your for a while. How did it all start?
So you decided you wanted to go ahead and jump. Which doors did you knock on? What surprised you? Was it a smooth sailing or a struggle? How did you persist?
How did you scale it up? What did you learn? Were you able to hold on to the people or the initial idea or did you have to shift? What did it do for you as a person?
What will the future look like? Is it sustainable? Which challenges lie ahead? How do you see your business and yourself in 10 years?

It’s not about sports. It’s about life. Every story of every athlete unveiled a powerful universal truth that needed to be shared beyond their fans. So we created Money Talks.
A series of talks with athletes. We recorded 5 episodes and partnered up with L’Echo to turn them into podcasts. It worked, it was strong and powerfull and the athletes brought the concept to a different level.
We received enthusiastic feedback from both captains of industry and the public; they came to us with their take-aways from the episodes and their own stories. “Portfolio” is the result of the interaction between athletes and non-athletes. Is it sustainable? There will never be a lack of origin stories or inspiring interactions. However, it’s our potential partnership that lays the fertile soil for Portfolio to keep growing.

2 brothers, professional athletes making the transition into life-after-sports
Duse was born out of the love of sports.
Two ex-ball players fueled by a passion for storytelling and a broad network among athletes & sport professionals.
Throughout our journey we have had the privilege to connect with athletes such as LeBron James, Max Verstapen and Serena Williams, that have shared their journey with us. We have played ball with Kevin De Bruyne, and challenged Mbappé to a D.U.S.E.
In all these encounters the conversation was never about medals or million-dollar-contracts. It was about achievements, lessons learned, dissapointments and hard truths. More often off than on the field.
We are driven by passion.
Passion for sports, for media, for a good story, and most of all passion for life.
