I am a diligent and driven person with a love for architecture. I have a keen interest in architecture that seeks after a symbiotic relationship between buildings, it’s users and their natural environment. I have developed my software skills to be adept with the use of 3D modelling and architectural visualization which is a passion of mine.
01 Ota Office Complex
Year: 400Level Omega Semester
Type: Commercial
Location: Opposite Bells University, Idi-iroko Express-way, Ota, Ogun state, Nigeria. Organisation: Covenant University
Over the past decade, office work has become increasingly flexible, with hybrid and fully remote work models largely emerging due to the COVID-19 pandemic and advancements in technology. This shift has reduced the demand for permanent office buildings while increasing the need for flexible, rentable office spaces. Today, office environments are viewed more as spaces for social interaction and collaboration.
The design brief required a proposal for a 6-story office building, with four floors dedicated to rentable office spaces and the first two floors offering community-focused facilities. The primary design challenge was to create a layout accommodating various types of tenants within at least 2,000 square meters of rentable space.
My approach focused on tenant adaptability, utilizing an open-plan office layout to allow different organizations to tailor the space to their unique operational needs.

An organic form imitating the bulky and widespreading roots of trees found in the locality is used on the facade adding to the aesthetic of the building which is located along a major expressway. To promote productivity and allow workers to feel less trapped within the building out-door terraces and curtain wall glass facade were used.

Retirement Home Scheme 02
Year: 300 Level Alpha Semester
Type: Residential
Location: Ikota,Lekki-Epe Express Way, Lagos state, Nigeria.
Organisation: Covenant University
The project brief required the design of a two-story retirement home unit that could be replicated within a retirement estate scheme for senior civil servants aged sixty-five (65) and above. The primary aim of the project was to enhance the standard of living for retired civil servants, thereby fostering positive work ethics in the civil service and discouraging corruption. Additionally, the brief included the planned layout of the estate, accommodating at least 20 retirement home units.
In planning the estate layout, my primary focus was on ensuring interconnectivity for easy and straightforward navigation, tailored to the aging demographic of the users. This was achieved through an urban grid pattern, which promotes accessibility and efficient land use.
For the building design, my approach emphasized providing optimal visibility within the interior spaces through large, expansive windows and clear, unobstructed floor widths. My design intentionally connects the users to their external environment with features such as outdoor terraces and a backyard garden, fostering a sense of harmony between indoor and outdoor spaces.

03 Community Center
Year: 300Level Alpha Semester
Type: Institutional
Location: Ikota,Lekki-Epe Express Way, Lagos state, Nigeria.
Organisation: Covenant University
As an extension of the Retirement Home Scheme project, I was tasked with designing a facility of my choice to further enhance the livelihood of the users, whereby I chose to design a community center.
The aim of the community center is to foster growth and togetherness within the estate by providing spaces for social, educational, and physical activities that cater to various group sizes.
The layout is zoned based on the noise activity levels of each space, with the noisier zones located on the west side and quieter activities positioned on the east. At the heart of the center is an indoor garden, offering a serene space for users to unwind and connect with nature. This feature is particularly designed to support meditation and social interactions, which are common and cherished among the older Nigerian generation.

Prime Shopping Complex 04
Year: 2024
Type: Commercial
Location: Cemetry Road, Apapa, Lagos state, Nigeria.
Organisation: Freelance
The project brief was to design a shopping complex featuring 50 lettable spaces across four floors, to be replicated along a stretch of land. Each building block is to be positioned on a rectangular plot of 1,944 sqm.
The primary design challenge was balancing the client’s need for spacious lettable areas with the requirement to comply with building regulations, particulary for car parking, given the site’s limited size.
To address this, I opted for a “U” shaped building form, which not only maximized the available space for parking but also allowed for clear sightlines of all retail units, enhancing visibility and accessibility for customers.
