THESIS STATEMENT
The Urban Heat Island effects (UHI) and Extreme Heat Events (EHE) are exacerbating inequality globally, necessitating creative resolutions of green typologies like vegetation and landscaping to reduce both occurrences.
STATEMENT BRIEF
The severe effects of Urban Heat Islands (UHI) and Extreme Heat Events (EHE) brought upon and enhanced by climate change significantly affect undeserved communities and populations worldwide, increasing inequality on a global scale.

The utilization of green typologies and landscapes can reduce both of these occurrences and improve the well-being of a city.
