All our acrylic baths are made from sanitary grade cast acrylic that is stain and scuff resistant and colourfast. Baths are reinforced with a wooden baseboard, encapsulated under a thick layer of glass fibre for added strength plus a timber rim that supports the edge of the bath. Finally, every bath is trimmed to give a precision engineered finish.

Integrated, Linear & Walk-In
Dimensions quoted for our products are ‘approximate’ in line with normal business practice, NOT to indicate a lack of attention to detail, but in the case of sanitaryware production to indicate that the process is inexact.
Our range of integrated, linear and walk-in showers featured on pages 120-127 are not water tight shower cubicles and as such there will inevitably be some water that escapes onto the floor and walls outside the showering area. The floor of your bathroom needs to be tiled or some other flooring that is resistant to water penetration. We would recommend that the area immediately around the enclosure is water proofed – this is best practice even when more conventional shower enclosures are used.
Level entry shower trays (STW12) These trays are just 40mm thick. Achieving a level entry installation relies on recessing them into the floor boards, overboarding the floorboards around the tray and tiling on top. The thicknesses of the tiles and materials you use will vary and the installation will need to be planned on site. BATHS Acrylic baths The white acrylic used has been specified to match the colour of our sanitaryware. As it is a different material, and reflectivity of materials vary, in some light conditions the white may look a little different. Our Walk-In baths are NOT manufactured from acrylic, the complexity of design prevents this manufacturing process and they are produced with a hardwearing gelcoat. Heritage bath panels are designed to go with Heritage baths, a 1700 panel for a 1700 bath etc. White plastic, corner and Fresso bath panels are a fixed height and when used in conjunction with one of our baths allows the bath trap to be installed above the finished floor in most cases. Shaker and Traditional panels have a plinth so the height can be adjusted.
Cast iron baths Cast iron baths are products that are notoriously difficult to make and the process of manufacture is expressed in intrinsic characteristics such as a degree of surface ripple, dimples and miniscule black specks within the interior. These features are quite normal and will not affect the life of the bath, they are part of what makes a cast iron bath a cast iron bath! The outside of the cast iron bath is now smooth and primed ready for painting – this preparation is not intended to be the finished surface and may suffer some minor damage during transportation which will be easily rectifiable when you paint the outside in your finished colour.
If precise measurements are required then it is always best to measure the actual pieces when they are delivered and plan your bathroom around them. Every effort is made to ensure our sanitaryware is straight and level, and our standards are significantly higher than those set out in the current British standards, however, when used on furniture, for example, there will be situations where an inexact basin will meet a perfectly straight worktop and sealant will need to be applied to fill any inconsistencies, ensuring a stable fit and sealing the furniture from water ingress. The 25-year guarantee on sanitaryware extends to the ceramic pieces only. The cistern fittings are guaranteed for 10 years. The inlet on all our ceramic cisterns is on the bottom right hand side, unless stated otherwise.

TAPS & SHOWER VALVES Heritage taps are designed to be compatible with Heritage sanitaryware and baths. A 1 taphole basin mixer will be suitable for any 1 taphole basin, the few exceptions to this rule will be highlighted in the directory section. The majority of Heritage taps and shower valves have been engineered to operate on low pressure making them compatible with all plumbing systems. The minimum operating pressure for each tap and shower valve is stated in the directory for you to confirm compatibility with your installer.
Measuring tap spout projections Spout projection measurements refer to the dimension from the centre of the body to the centre of the spout.
METAL FINISHES Chrome is an extremely durable plated finish which is applied to a variety of fittings in a consistent manner. Vintage Gold is either a high tech hard wearing finish applied to high use fittings such as taps and showers or a plated finish we use on shower kits, hoses and accessories where the high tech version would be overspecified and cost prohibitive. Close inspection may show some colour variation which is normally acceptable given the relative distance between individual fittings when installed.

How to claim In the unlikely event that you encounter a problem with your Heritage bathroom products, you must, in the first instance, return to the place or person whom you purchased it from. They will be able to advise whether it is due to faulty product or faulty installation. If the problem is due to a manufacturing fault, they will contact us to arrange supply of a replacement product as soon as possible.
To be covered by this guarantee you must register upon receipt of products, all products should be installed and maintained in accordance with the instructions provided and be for domestic use only. Products must be purchased and installed in the UK only. This does not affect your Statutory Rights.
Whilst every effort is made to ensure printing accuracy throughout this brochure, colour reproduction is always difficult. We recommend you view products in a showroom prior to purchase. Deliveries We monitor our stock levels to ensure that all products are in stock. If for any reason the product ordered is not in stock then we will inform the retailer at the time of receipt so alternative arrangements can be made.
