What is Thanksgiving Day Without Cranberries?


Thanksgiving Day is for food, fun and family!

With so much to do, these make

ahead muffins, are great for a quick breakfast or coffee/tea break.

Recipe: 1 3/4 cup of all purpose flour 1/2 cup packed light brown sugar 2 1/2 teaspoon baking powder 1/2 teaspoon of salt 3/4 cup of milk 1/2 stick of butter, melted 1 egg, beaten 1 cup of chopped cranberries 1/2 cup of pecans 1 teaspoon of grated lemon peel

Preheat the oven to 400°F. Line 12 muffin cups

2. Combine the flour, brown sugar, baking powder and salt in a large bowl. Combine milk, butter and egg in a small bowl and whisk until blended. Add the liquid mixture to the flour mixture just until it's moistened. Add the cranberries, pecans and lemon peel. Fill muffin cups until almost full. 3. Bake for 15 to 18 minutes or until the muffins are done. Remove from pans and serve warm. 4. Enjoy!
