It’s been a busy summer for Graeme Hart’s side with no less than nine players coming in while eight departing, while another has made a loan move elsewhere. On the departure side of things, Megan Burns, Haley Kern, Erin Ross, Steffi Simson, Caroline Nachman, Morgan Airlie and Alex Robson left for pastures new while Laurie Ross has retired. Attacker Clara Laing has gone out on loan to Championship outfit Dryburgh Athletic. New to the club are nine players who bring to the club their own levels of experience, ranging from an Academy graduate to the English Championship. Lisa Ryan is a 27 year old defender who was last at Spartans and has also played in the Championship with Sheffield United. Goalkeeper Fiona McNicoll, 34, has been heavily involved in the top flight since her senior debut for Forfar Farmington, Fiona has also been named in Scotland training squads previously. Claire Delworth joins the club from capital city club Heart of Midlothian where the 21 year old defender has spent the previous seven years. Attacker Johan Fraser makes her way down the A90 from Aberdeen as the 24 year old links up with fellow ex-Dons Cassie Cowper and Jade McLaren. Ciara Bonner, 23, was previously captain at Stirling University where she was at the heart of their defence, Joining her in moving from Stirling are Jodie Malcolm, a 20 year old winger and goalkeeper Ellie Mitchell, also 20.
Emily Arthur has become the latest Academy graduate with the 17 year old winger moving up to the senior squad. 22 year old defender Eve Donald became the ninth signing last weekend after previously plying her trade Glasgow and Hibs.
