GAA President John Horan was in Dundalk on Monday afternoon to officially turn the sod at the site for the new Louth GAA Stadium which is being built on the Inner Relief Road. President Horan made it clear that Croke Park was 100% behind this project and vowed to make the project ‘one of his priorities going forward’. Jane second in World Record attempt
Dundalk barmaid Jane Meehan finished joint second last weekend during a Guinness World record attempt to make the most Irish coffees in three minutes. Rory McGee from the Shelbourne Hotel in Dublin created a new record by making a scarcely believable 49 Irish Coffees in just three minutes but he was pushed all the way by Jane who finished with a hugely impressive total of 41.
