The family members of Ponce de Vivanco guard the image that closes the procession, Our Lady of Sorrow.Behind this venerated image follow all of the people in the Army War Band, which performs the “Funeral March to Moran.” In the so called “Pontezuela of the Cathedral” (the entrance off of Santa Catalina) the procession is received by the Archbishop and the Chapter of the Cathedral and is honored in the Plaza de Armasby the Brotherhood of the municipality, while the Polyphonic Choir performs sacred melodies.
