The Summer Ter m Review

2 0 2 2

For the fir st time in three year s, we had a ‘ nor mal’ Dumpton Summer Ter m - although I would have to say that ‘ nor mal’ seems the most inadequate of adjectives for what has been the most jam-pac ked, joyful and remarkably fulfilling of ter ms

A quic k flic k through the pages of this magazine will g ive you a taste of the wonderful ar ray of activities that took place this ter m. The c hildren - as ever - have g rasped those oppor tunities with both hands, and whether it has been in the classroom, the spor ts pitc hes, the stage, or in the g reat outdoor s, they have taken on every c hallenge with the bravest of hear ts and the biggest of smiles. Watc hing them g row and develop before our eyes is suc h a pleasure to see.

My thanks also go to our wonderful staff. They may not feature in too many of the pictures here - but none of us ever take for g ranted how integ ral they are to all that takes place here at Dumpton.
