Homeschool Programs 2015-2016 Introduce students to our nation’s past through homeschool history days at Dumbarton House. During our hands-on program student travel back in to the early 1800s and explore Washington, D.C. history. Each program includes an interactive tour of the museum or grounds, followed by a workshop and snack. Homeschool History Days are held on the 3rd Wednesday of the month from 1pm-3pm. Are programs are geared to students ages 5-12 years old. Students must be accompanied by a parent or responsible adult. Registration Register online at http://dumbartonhouse.org/youth-groups. Registration should be made at least 1 week prior to the program date. All programs provide a snack. Please notify staff of any food allergies at least 48 hours in advance. Payment The charge for our programs are $6 per student, $3 per adult, supplies and snack included. Cancellations must be made at least 7 days before program date to be eligible for a refund. Special Needs The Museum’s programs are available to all students as the hands-on programs are developed to connect with all learning styles. Given enough notification, Museum Educators can adapt programs to fit the specific needs of your students. The Museum is wheelchair accessible. Questions?
