Patriotism and Presidents, January 16, 2013 In honor of Inauguration Day, students will learn the history behind America’s patriotic images, symbols, and traditions from the past and today.
Living Local in Georgetown, March 20, 2013 Discover the history of Georgetown and the early Federal City.
Garden Fun, May 15, 2013 Step outside and discover how the Nourse family used the grounds of Dumbarton House.
Registration To register email Education@DumbartonHouse.org, or call 202-337-2288. Programs are scheduled from 1-3pm in the afternoon. Programs are 2 hours. Registrations should be made at least 1 month prior to program date. All programs provide a snack. Please notify staff of any food allergies. Payments $4 per student (snack and supplies included). Students must be accompanied by a parent or other responsible adult. Special Needs The Museum's programs are available to all students as the hands-on programs are developed to connect with all learning styles. Given enough notification, Museum Educators can adapt programs to fit the specific needs of your students. The Museum is wheelchair accessible.
