Year 5 and new Year 6 Students - Devices for Learning
Dear Year 5 and Year 6 Families,
From August 2025, Y5 students and new Y6 students will be provided with a College device for schoolwork This decision has been made in response to teacher, tech staff and parent feedback, plus international best practice as it has developed.
Please note:
• The device will be allocated to the student but will remain the property of the College.
• It will be returned to the school whenever requested by staff.
• A cover will be provided to protect the device.
• The device will remain at school for evenings, weekends and holidays unless staff advise it is needed for specific home learning tasks.
