She builds walls with her teeth doesn’t allow him to follow her into the dark always hardened by the winds that sweep her from place to place lover to lover.

He He says her eyes sparkle in the night like the stars looking down on them they open up for the rst time when the light doesn’t block them from saying what they mean.

She dis disregards dark to be but a mask for those too afraid to say what they mean those who allow the moon’s shadows to do the talking. she despises the night but hasn’t been able to revel in the light as she used to.

He says the night gives him the time that he needs the time that d the time that daylight steals away too soon he needs to think. and as the clock ticks the midnight hours away, the dawn stretches over the land between them.
