For sophomores and juniors, Duke offers living options on both West and Central Campuses. There are more than 80 residence buildings, some affiliated with Greek Life and Selective Living Groups, and others unaffiliated. Residences on West Campus are dorm style, while Central Campus residences consist of apartment clusters.

dining All freshmen, sophomores and juniors living on campus are required to have some kind of dining plan. All freshmen meal plans consist primarily of swipes at Marketplace, with a limited amount of extra food points. Most upperclassmen meal plans consist solely of food points, which vary in amount among the different plans. Food points can also be added to a student’s Duke card throughout the academic year.
