The centerpiece of the Duke Arts Festival is always the 200+ exhibition of work by Duke students in the Bryan Center. Works cover a variety of media including painting, photography, sculpture, graphic design, printing, digital art and film. The students come from all areas of the humanities, social sciences and natural sciences. This year’s exhibition includes a special exhibition, “New Views,” a selection of work by Students in the Duke Master of Fine Arts in Experimental and Documentary Arts program. Thru November 4. October 29 – November 2, 12pm-2pm, Monday-Friday, The Bryan Center Plaza Look for duARTS all week long on the Plaza and learn about this new student organization that aims to make the arts an integral part of the Duke undergraduate experience by connecting student artists and arts groups, within and across disciplines, to create a unified voice for Duke undergraduate arts as a whole. Campus Shot: Duke Magazine Photography Contest Duke Magazine, the university’s award-winning alumni magazine, invited undergraduate, graduate, and professional-school students to submit a photograph that captures the Duke experience. Some of the entries will be on display in Duke Arts Festival exhibition in the Bryan Center.

The winning photo will be published in a future issue of Duke Magazine.
