Polymer Concentrations are precisely prepared using the integrated sample preparation module, iSP-1. Solvent and solution flow times are measured precisely in calibrated glass capillary viscometers at a closely controlled temperature. Final results are calculated from the relative viscosity and the known concentration. The RPV-2 RSS Analyzer is configured with a Smart Sampler together with the optional integrated sample preparation module as well as a sample dissolution system, such as a shaker or magnetic stirring heating and cooling block.
The RPV-2 RSS is a self-contained Automated Polymer Analyzer. Features include: - XYZ sampler with in-line filters - Temperature controlled bath – with heating, stirring and cooling - One or two measuring positions - On-board control system, including power supply and PC - In-situ “safe-vac” cleaning and drying system - External parts include: PC monitor, keyboard, mouse, solvent and waste bottles.
The iSP-1 is a fully integrated sample preparation system.
