To change a fuse on the IEC socket, follow these steps: Step 1: Power off the instrument and remove the IEC power cable. Step 2: Locate the mains fuse holder in the IEC socket – place a small screwdriver behind the tab on the top of the fuse drawer to open it. Step 3: Replace the mains fuse (s). Step 4: Close the fuse drawer.
Place a small flat screwdriver behind the tab and pull forwards.
Double fuse holder – 2 x 6.3A fuses
Insert new fuse(s) into holder and push fuse tray back into the IEC socket with a firm push.
A blown fuse may indicate another problem in the instrument. If a replacement fuse blows, seek further assistance,
