INNOVATION ECOSYSTEM SUNSHINE COAST TELSTRA INNOVATION AWARDS Each year students in years 10 to 12 from high schools across the Sunshine Coast are challenged to develop innovative ideas through the creative use of technology. The competition, delivered by Sunshine Coast Council in partnership with Telstra and SCRIPT, brings creative ideas to life, while connecting students with industry mentors to develop and refine their ideas. Ideas which could include the creation of new app, new concepts in social media, gaming technology or robotics that could lead to improvements in transport, health, agriculture and other important industries.

The winning school shares in technology prizes and receives an all-expenses-paid Telstra Experience in Sydney where they tour the Telstra Experience Centre to receive further mentoring from senior Telstra technology leaders and visit a start-up incubator.
