POWER LEVEL FUEL SYSTEM POWER CAPACITY DSPORT_206 Piston Engine An internal combustion piston engine consists block, crank, rods, pistons, heads, valves, camshafts, intake system, exhaust system, and ignition system. They all work together convert chemical energy into mechanical energy that allows your car to move. Inside the block, crankshaft connected to number of connecting rods (depending on how many cylinders your engine has), and the rods are attached the same number pistons. the pistons move up and down, they rotate the crankshaft using the connecting rods. Starting with the piston top dead center (the first step the four-stroke cycle), the intake valves open while the exhaust valves are closed (opening and closing controlled by the camshaft, which synchronized the crankshaft using belt chain). the crankshaft continues rotate, pulls the piston down sucking air into the cylinders. the time the piston reaches the bottom, the cylinder now filled with air and fuel. The piston then starts moving upwards during the compression stroke. During this stroke, the intake and exhaust valves are closed. The upward movement of the piston compresses the air and fuel mixture, which mixes the air and fuel molecules they’re pushed closer together. This process creates mixture optimized for combustion. Once the piston near top dead center again, the spark plug fires trigger the combustion in the cylinder. The power stroke creates controlled combustion triggered by the spark. The combustion pushes the piston down the cylinder. The pressure generated the combustion the driving power that propels the wheels on your car. As the piston makes way toward bottom dead center, the exhaust camshaft lobe starts open the exhaust valve preparing for the final stroke in four-stroke cycle. The QRT-C is the lightest “large” size carbon fiber seat on the market. The QRT-C weighs 9.5lbs (shell only) and 12lbs (with padding and cover). It is constructed with “Pre-Preg” aerospace grade carbon fiber, also known as Dry Carbon. The QRT-C was specifically designed for large driver and it fits up to 36” waist driver comfortably. The QRT-C is unique because it was designed to fit a larger driver but has excellent fitment into smaller cockpits The QRT-C requires the special QRT Side mounts (#600QRT) which allows the seat to be racked back for a comfortable seating position.
