PATRICK JONES
CONSUMMATE CREATIVE

“I believe it’s important to stand out, so at every level, I create in a way that keeps my clients out of a sea of sameness. I value relationships, and I build client brands and creative as if I were going to hang my own name on the door.”

– Patrick Jones
IDEAS & DESIGNS FROM A DREAMER’S MIND
It was in his sixth-grade math class that Patrick Jones knew he would become an artist. That’s because when it came to interest in numbers or calculations, Patrick preferred, well, sketching fancy doodles instead. That pastime would get him into trouble in middle school but pay dividends in life. Today, Patrick is the Advisor Maketing Specialist for Mutual Group, an industry leading financial services firm based in Camarillo, CA. One of Mutual’s solutions is providing marketing and advertising services to financial advisors launching independent firms, and Patrick oversees the design of everything from lasting logos to brilliant brands. And he’s a partner in the firm Brand&, whose mission is to guide small businesses in uncovering their uniques, build their brand sand tell their stories.
Patrick has not one but two ADDYS under his belt –much coveted awards from the American Advertising Federation competition recognizing the creative spirit and excellence in the art of advertising. And in his career he has held positions including Art and Creative Director for a publishing group with regional print and online publications – which he single-handedly rebranded –and as the Art Director for Little Rock’s leading news and culture print and online publication, where he designed the aforementioned, award-winning creations.
Patrick is passionate about his work. The graphic artist in him takes clients’ ideas and transforms them into the brands, websites, corporate identities and collateral they need for their emerging businesses to thrive – but he goes beyond that. Throughout the process he shares
with his colleagues and clients his deep knowledge of the meaning of color, the emotion behind fonts and his eye for brilliant photography – breathing life into a project. And as a talented professional photographer and videographer, if he’s not designing in his Mutual studio, you’ll find him traveling to a photo shoot. He is known for penning a tagline that rivals his best writer’s and for a quick wit and sense of humor that keeps his colleagues in stitches.
It’s Patrick’s spirit of service that makes him the person people turn to in times of trouble. Like his father and his brother, Patrick served for eight years in the Army National Guard. As a radio operator with top-level clearance, he remembers training troops for England’s British Army on radio communication skills. An unforeseen injury required him to leave the Guard, but that wasn’t his only avenue as a public servant. He served as a volunteer firefighter for five years alongside his father. Patrick studied graphic design and fine art at Arkansas State University until his junior year, when his father and brother were deployed to Kuwait, and he postponed his education to better help care for his family. A man of great faith, Patrick uses his skills every Sunday in the audio-visual department at his church. He is the first to volunteer for the odd job around the office, or to bring one of his signature dishes (he’s an amateur chef) to the company lunch.
THE DIFFERENTIATORS:
STARTUP STARTER
A small business owner and entrepreneur in his own right, Patrick has unique insight on how to help position businesses – from start-ups to established – to own their voice. He is particularly gifted in brand creation, including company naming, and logos that stand the test of time.
CREATIVE CLAIRVOYANT
From the first words of a brainstorming session, Patrick sees the visual trapped inside words and begins formulating innovative and out-of-the-box approaches to bring ideas to life. Imagery, color and words come together, enabling him to evade the obvious and tell the whole story.
MULTI-TALENTED MAESTRO
Patrick is a devoted husband to his wife, Lisa, and an anchor for his extended family. Most days you will find him behind his computer, with a camera in hand, cooking a fancy meal, playing with his nieces or walking his dog.

An arsenal of experience powers the breadth of abilities in this unique creative. From writing, drawing and design, to photography, video, ideas and imagination, Patrick is the Swiss Army knife of creation. His typical answer? “OK, I’ve got an idea.”
“It had long since come to my attention that people of accomplishment rarely sat back and let things happen to them. They went out and happened to things.”

HERE’S WHAT OTHERS HAVE TO SAY
“Six years ago today we made one of the most significant hires we’ve ever made. We were growing and trying to compete with “the big boys”, but we were still slapping our logo on material and I knew we were ready to make a leap to the next step. I was searching everywhere I could think to find “the right person, right seat” and I came across this
“Patrick, you are everything we could hope for in a teammate! You work your butt off, produce excellent work, our advisors love you, you are positive and make us laugh, you make us great food to fill up our bellies, and you are passionate about what you do! I am so glad you are part of this great team!
Patrick is one of a kind. There are few times in life when you first meet someone and instantly know that you will be good friends. Patrick is that person. While I have not worked with him in a professional space, I have been privileged to work alongside him in ministry. Patrick gives of himself where there are needs. The transferable skills that he has obtained over his years of working in the corporate world fit nicely when trying to bring order and efficiency to outside entities. As I have shared with Patrick on occasion, he is gifted with
“In my 25-plus year career in marketing and public relations, I have worked with dozens of graphic artists and other creatives. Patrick is the best there is. He brings so many talents to the table. In addition to his remarkable designs, which include logos, advertising, website design and more -- he is a gifted photographer and videographer. To top it off, as a copy and content writer myself, I regularly ask Patrick to edit my work.

– Russell Mason Lead Architect/Supervisor IT Data Governance, Southwest Power Pool
The extra “spin” he adds — because he is such a clever and creative thinker — improves my work. Beyond that, Patrick is a true team player who goes far above what is expected for his clients and colleagues. Lastly, Patrick is a good man with exceptional character. He is the total package.”

MONAT Products Do More
Radiance is key to hair’s beauty. MONAT products help revitalize, hydrate and protect the hair’s appearance thanks to innovative technology and progressive ingredients.
How many hair products have you tried in your lifetime?
Probably dozens — if not hundreds.
Between the drugstore, the salon and upscale retailers, the choices are endless. Most consumers repeatedly try and buy new products because the result rarely lives up to the type. Even products we like stop being as effective over time. Why? Most of these products are designed to a narrow set of hair challenges, and as we reach different stages in life, these issues tend to change.
MONAT offers exclusive science formulas infused with our exclusive REJUVENIQE™ OIL INTENSIVE, delivering incredible moisture, renewing life to the hair and eliminating brittle texture. After just a few uses, you’ll see thicker, longer, stronger, healthy and youthful-looking hair … and the more you use MONAT, the more your hair benefits to sustain the beautiful appearance of healthy-looking hair by providing it with beneficial hydration, necessary cleansing and moisturization, nutrition for regrowth, plus the added benefit of UV protection to preserve hair’s radiance and help pause the signs of aging.
MONAT Products Are Naturally Pure
All MONAT products are naturally based, with pure active botanical blends combined with powerful new technology, such Red Clover Extract (Capixyl), and Pea Extract (Procataline), and Cordasorb™. These amazing ingredients protect the hair against UV and free-radical damage, and infuse each strand with vitamins and minerals that combat oxidative stress while proactive amino acids repair and replace intercellular function.
