This graph shows that the number of hungers have been decreasing while the population is increasing. However, 3% of the population in Malaysia still suffered from hunger in 2018. There are still people suffering from hunger.

People without access to basic education are not only the poor and women, but also people with disabilities, and the SDGs aim to eliminate such education gaps by 2030, through initiatives such as free education and more types of scholarships.

6. CLEAN WATER AND SANITASION Water is a limited resource and yet essential for life. However, approximately half of the world's population lacks access to hygienic toilets and 2.2 billion of people are not able to access to drink clean water. Unsanitary and dirty water brings… ● ● ●

As well as the problems caused by the water itself, there are also dangers posed by the facilities themselves, such as women being violated in unsecured toilets.Based on these, SDGs aim to ensure that everyone has access to affordable and safe drinking water by 2030, and that toilets are safe for vulnerable groups such as women and children to use.

Water problems that we are facing The world is now facing a serious water problem. Almost half of the world's population has no access to sanitary toilets and as many as 2.2 billion people have no access to clean drinking water. Malaysia has an abundance of water, but water is a limited resource and needs to be used with care.

This graph on the left shows the overall water use in Malaysia from 2012 to 2020. As can be seen, water use has been increasing for about 10 years. Malaysia is expected to use more water in the future as its population and economy are expected to grow.

In fact, only 71% of Kelantan folk have access to clean water. It is an important resource for life, so people need to be made familiar with the preciousness of clean water. As well as increased water supply, Malaysia is also concerned about sanitation issues in toilets and frequent flooding.

how do we supply water in malaysia Malaysia supplements 100% of the water it uses with its own land. Most of the water comes from rivers. Malaysia also has a contract with Singapore to deliver a certain amount of water to Singapore as well.

The water we use in our daily lives comes from rivers and is cleaned in water treatment plants before being transported to our homes. Conversely, wastewater from the house is discharged through the sewers, through septic tanks and sewage treatment plants, and into rivers.

Selangor is mainly supplied with domestic water from the Sg. Selangor and Sg. Langat river basins.

Selangor - water supply amount In some states, people do not have access to clean water, but in Selangor, 100% of people have access to clean water and the per capita water use ranks fifth overall. A comparison of the amount of water delivered by state also shows that Selangor is by far the largest user of water.

This led me to decide that the solution to SDG 6 would be to teach the importance of water to primary school children in Selangor.

My Project Problem & Why - Most of the water used in Malaysia is carried from rivers. Malaysia's water use has increased in the last decade due to population growth and economic development, and is expected to increase more in the future.

Water use in Selangor is by far the highest of any state, about four times higher than in other states.

What - Therefore, this project provides water education to children in Selangor in a fun way. This will avoid water shortages in Malaysia in the future.

Access to water and sanitation facilities is one of the most basic human necessities.

In Tamil Nadu, 99% of the rural population have access to safe and adequate drinking water within their premises. Due to population explosion, urbanisation and rampant industrialisation in the recent past have led to increasing pressure on environment.

As the facility aims to provide water education for children, it will be designed so that they can learn about water while having fun.

Transparent Toilet -Shibuya The system uses special frosted glass, which becomes invisible when locked. The permeability of the glass makes it an excellent alternative to street lighting in parks at night.

There are two concerns with public toilets. One is whether it is clean inside and whether anyone is hiding inside. The installation of transparent walls can eliminate both of these concerns without the need to enter the toilet.

This is an innovative idea to make it easier for women and children to use public toilets, even at night.

Sustagoon Water is a limited yet essential resource for life. We need to think about what we can do to save that precious resource in the future. Malaysia's water use has increased in the last decade due to population growth and economic development. Water use in Selangor is by far the highest of any state. Therefore, this project provides water education for children in Selangor to teach them the importance of water. This will avoid water shortages in Malaysia. I propose a facility where children can receive water education while playing. This playground contains a water dome that reuses river water and a rest area with fish displays; a café on the ground floor selling drinks. A screen on the roof allows children to receive water education with views of the Selangor river. The highlight is a waterfall with projection mapping. The more water they save, the more they could see the projection mapping. It is then reused as toilet water. This facility would collaborate with MWA (the Malaysian Water Association), and primary schools in Selangor to educate children about water. (180 words)
