Collaboration

Collaboration

FWB staff are great to work with.

We have been able to collaborate and reach out for resources for nursing care and questions regarding children and the foster child program.

The FWB team is very supporting of progress to improve the system for some of our most vulnerable children.

FWB staff is a very caring team.

~ Janet Wakefield BSN, RN

FWB has been very impactful, useful, and helpful when our team has reached out to them for guidance, consultation and education regarding medically complex questions about youth in our licensed facilities. The staff in FWB have taken the time to provide my team with case specific information, general best practice guidelines, and basic education on medical issues that we may not understand.

Guidance

Support

I have had nothing but positive interactions with FWB. Everyone I have had contact with is very professional and has the best interests of their client at heart. I imagine the work is difficult and filled with barriers. FWB, in my experience, does everything possible to address the barriers and gain the best outcomes for their clients.

Responsiveness

FWB has been quick to respond, provide detailed information and is thorough in any response or project in collaboration with CYSHCN. Their expertise is evident and appreciated in complex needs of CYSHCN. They are a critical partner in improving policies and practices for CYSHCN.

Partnership

FWB is a Godsend. I don’t know what I would have done without FWB.

FWB is making a long-term impact on my client’s life and others involved. FWB plays such a powerful role in my client’s life.

Experience

FWB brings a wealth of experience, knowledge and advocacy, regarding all domains for children who experience trauma/foster care… We know we are not able to have experts in each office, but the FWB team is just a phone call or email away and a vital resource during times of limited or no resources for children and families.

~ Denise McJohnson, DCYF Needs program

Experience

Resourceful

FWB’s knowledge, compassion and ability to connect youth and family with resources and health care benefits is always impressive. I have seen the FWB team work with up to six agencies to help transport a youth in need of inpatient care back to Washington state via medical helicopter, finding the way to make it work when others were stumped.

When we reach out, we get quick and thoughtful answers, and when we send referrals to them we can always be confident that our members will get great help from a great team.
