Shine on stage at DSHA!

Community Theatre Works (CTW) is an intensive, four-week rehearsal process combining the talents of DSHA students and alumnae, middle school students, and community members. Students in grades 5-12 will work in tandem with local theatrical talent in a caring theatre environment that involves mentoring, teaching, learning, and growing to produce a summer musical. All aspects of the production will be involved—from initial auditions and rehearsals to full performances before eager audiences. Campers will even have some limited exposure to the behind-the-scenes set-building and stage crew process.

Boys are eligible and encouraged to participate in CTW. Pre-registration is required to audition. Go to dsha.info/summer to register.

In addition to registering for the camp, all participants must audition and fill out an audition packet; available beginning May 1 at dsha.info/summer . Students should bring packet to their assigned audition day.

In order to participate you must attend all performances and may not miss more than two rehearsals.

Adults are called to audition for this community theatre experience with adult rehearsals being flexible.

Performances take place in The Robert and Marie Hansen Family Fine Arts Theatre at DSHA.

Tickets will be available online in July at dsha.info/tickets . $12 for students and seniors; $15 for adults.

An additional refundable $50 check per camper must be submitted to be returned on July 17 after participation in strike. (It will be deposited only if absent from strike.)
