Sign off to add your signature to any day within 6 months. Approve / Decline Admins pending changes they have made to your log. View your Recap totals for the week.

The main screen displays the Driver Log App, and if your company is set up for DVIRs you will also see the DVIR app icon.

Icons / Screens View/Edit: Displays Driver’s Graph, Duty Details, Add Duty Events, and Copy Events.

Approve Admin Edits: Displays any Pending Admin changes that need to be approved or declined by the Driver.

Recap Totals: Displays Driver’s totals for the week.

Inspection Mode: Sign Logs: logs.

Displays 8 or 14 days of Driver’s logs in one screen.

Split into 2 sections – current weeks logs and all other unsigned

Adding An Event Add Duty Event: Tap the Add Duty Detail button add an event to your log.

• Enter an Event Time. • Then tap a status button. • The event screen ( #4) will then be displayed, where drivers will fill in all additional information and save.

• Fill in all required fields. • Data prepopulates with details from previous event if a previous event exists. • All fields with white box are EDITABLE • Tap SAVE

Adding An Event Add Duty Event: Tap on the Graph or tap on the Add Duty Detail button at the top of the screen, to add a duty event. 1 2

• If you tapped on the Graph, the event pop up screen pre-populates the EVENT TIME & STATUS. • If you tapped the Add Duty Event button, then you must fill in the event & status fields. • Asset, Status, Location will prepopulate based on the information from prior event. • Enter a Reason Modified and Notes • Change Company and DOT# if needed. • Tap SAVE

Edit An Event EDIT EVENT: To edit an event, click on the duty row, and then tap EDIT Duty Detail button at the bottom of the screen •1

Tap on the duty event row you’d like to EDIT.

Then tap on the EDIT DUTY DETAIL button at the bottom of the screen.

The pop up screen displays the duty event fields. Editable fields displayed with white box. Non-Editable fields are READ Only and not editable.

4 Tap the Delete event to delete the manual event.

Editing Editing: Right mouse click on a duty event row.

The Duty Detail screen is displayed, showing all fields in read mode. Tap the EDIT button to edit, or Done to close.

Editing Prohibited NO EDITING: With ELDs FMCSA Regulations state the following events CANNOT BE EDITED.

Green lines on graph - indicate an event has been added manually. Blue lines on graph - indicate data came from ELD device. RED lines on graph - indicate Violation Pink lines on graph - indicate Admin Changes are Pending

Approve Admin Edits Approve Admin Edits: When a number is displayed next to the icon, it’s an indication that there are X number of changes made by the Administrator that the Driver must review. The number represents the number of events that need to be reviewed by the Driver. Tap Expand to view the duty events for the original and proposed changes. Tap Collapse to hide events.

When the icon doesn’t display a number, it means there are NO Admin changes to review. Summary section at bottom of screen shows totals for original and revised. Tap the I Accept button to approve changes. Tap the I Decline button to decline changes.

Approve Admin Edits Approve Admin Edits/ Certifying your log:

When I accept is selected by the driver, the system inserts the drivers Certification date/timestamp on their log record. If additional changes are made there after, the driver must re-approve and once done, the system will again add another certification to the log record.

Approve Admin Edits Approve Admin Edits: When viewing the Admin Edits screen, the screen displays the original and proposed graphs. Tap the Expand button to view the details. •

When the Expand button is tapped, the system shows the duty events for both the ORIGINAL and PROPOSED logs.

All changes made by the Admin are shown in PINK.

Drivers must tap I accept or I decline.

When pending edits exist, drivers cannot add a manual duty event.

Tap Collapse to hide the duty events.

Recap Totals Recap screen: displays 8 days or 14 days (for Canada) of the Driver’s totals for the week, across Total hours worked, Off Duty, Sleeper Berth, Driving, On Duty Not Driving, and total Miles.

Signature Screen SIGN LOGS: Drivers are required to have a signature on every day’s log. Tap the Sign Logs button. The system will not allow drivers to sign off when there are Pending Admin Changes that have not been reviewed.

The Last 8 Days section displays the last 8 or 14 days of the driver’s logs. Place a checkmark in the box next to the date that needs to be signed. Tap Select All – the system will place a checkmark across all boxes. Then tap the Sign Selected button at the top of the screen. The system displays the “ I certify message… “ Drivers are required to tap I AGREE to sign their log, or Not Ready to back out. Tapping on the (date/link) – brings up the log book. Once a log has been approved, it cannot be unapproved.

• The Older than 8 Days section displays all other days that do NOT have a drivers signature. • Place a checkmark in the box next to the date that needs to be signed. Tap Select All – the system will place a checkmark across all boxes. Then tap the Sign Selected button at the top of the screen. • The system displays the “ I certify message… “ • Drivers are required to tap I AGREE to sign their log, or Not Ready to back out.

Signature Screen

• There is no change to the ‘Sign Logs’ screen. • Unsigned days will show without a check and in black. • Signed days will show with a check and in grey. Note: Drivers will no longer be able to sign their logs using the “Driver Approved” comment in the Add/Edit duty details screen. They MUST sign their logs using the “Sign Logs” screen. When approving edits proposed by an admin, a driver will also be prompted to recertify his/her log in the process. • When tapping “I Accept,” a pop up will appear with the choices “Agree” or “Not Ready.” • Tapping “Agree” will approve the suggested changes, and recertify the logbook. • Tapping “Not Ready” will return the driver to the Admin edits screen for further review or rejection of edits. Certifications/signatures will be visible on each day’s logbook, in the View/Edit and Inspection Mode screens. • A field called “Last Certification” will appear just below the graph. • If a logbook is signed, the date/time of the last certification will show. Users can click on the link to expand to see all certifications for that days’ log. • If the logbook day is unsigned, the field will be blank. The driver will be unable to expand this until a certification is added to the log.

Yard Movement Yard Movement: Create a Yard Move Start & Yard Move End event to represent Yard Movement.

To indicate Yard Movement on your log book, you must create a start and end event. Create a manual event, and in the comment list, select Yard Move Start. Then create a Yard Move End event (showing when it ended) If you don’t see these comments in your list it means you are NOT set up to use the feature. (Driver Settings – See your Admin). An orange line is drawn on the graph showing the time in Yard Movement. YM is abbreviated along the line on the graph. While in Yard Movement – status = On Duty Not Driving

Personal Conveyance Personal Conveyance: Create a Personal Conveyance Start & Personal Conveyance End event to represent the time you were operating the bus (ALONE) under Personal Conveyance (Off Duty).

To indicate Personal Conveyance on your log book, you must create a start and end event. Create a manual event, and in the comment list, select Personal Conveyance Start. Then create a Personal Conveyance End event (showing when it ended) When under PC – driver is in Off Duty status. If you don’t see these comments in your list it means you are NOT set up to use the feature. (Driver Settings – See your Admin). An orange line is drawn on the graph showing the time in Personal Conveyance PC is abbreviated along the line on the graph.

Violations HOS Violations: The system displays HOS Violations by drawing a red line on the graph. •

Violations are shown in red on graph.

Violation that CAN be corrected manually: 1. When driver leaves themselves in On Duty Not Driving status. • To Fix: The driver needs to manually enter an Off Duty event

Violations for TODAY (Current day only) are shown on the graph as a red thick line (for USA) – Canada displays red circle. At the bottom of the duty event section, the system displays a violation table, showing the following details for each violation. • • •

HOS Rule Violated Asset driven during the violation Start & End time of the violation.

1. When driver leaves themselves in Driving Status. • Drivers & Admins will NOT be able to fix the violation. • The ONLY thing that can be done is to add an Off duty event for now, to end the driving event.

Editing Mileage Mileage: The system displays the Miles Today field automatically, based on the odometer values generated by the ELD system. Mileage comes directly from the ECM. •1 To manually enter mileage, tap the paper / pencil icon in the Asset table. 2 • 3• •

Tap the icon next to the ADD at the top of the pop up window. Then fill in the Start /End Odometer values, and the Start/End times. The system will auto-calculate the distance and populate the total in the distance column and add the value to the Miles Today field.

Copy Events COPY FEATURE: The system allows the Admin and Driver to ‘Copy’ certain events to a different day. 1

Tap the Copy Events button at the top of the screen. A pop up is displayed showing a calendar Place a checkmark(s) in the date that you’d like to copy to. (System validations prevent electronically recorded events to be copied over, and you are not allowed to copy to a day in the future). You are allowed to multi-select days, then fill in Reason Modified, & Notes, then tap Copy Events. The system copies the same events to the day selected.

Validations VALIDATIONS: The system displays red exclamation marks to represent there is a field error that must be corrected or entered in order to save

Drivers cannot REDUCE electronically driving time. The system doesn’t allow drivers to change Time or Status when editing a DRIVING event.

Validations if trying to add a duty event to your log when there are Pending Admin changes not addressed.

View 30 Day Summary Report & Audit Trail • •

From the Progress screen, tap the Menu button to view additional menu options. View Summary – to view last 30 days.

Tap the View Audit Trail to view details.

View Audit Trail: shows all changes made to the drivers log. All data is stored and saved. • Original Data – non edited - shown on a pink row. • If data is changed, the pink row is turned white, and the latest current row is pink.

My Profile / Print Log

From the Progress screen, tap the Menu button to view additional menu options.

My Profile – to set / reset password and password hint.

Tap the Export as PDF to generate log book in PDF format for printing.

When in the Graph screen, drivers can tap the Jump To Date menu to view the calendar and move to the date selected easily.

Tap Send To… and then select Email or Fax, to send logs to recipient.

Tap the Help to access User Documents/Manuals, and Video Tutorials.

To add an On or Off Duty Event, click “Add Event.” Select On or Off Duty • Examples: Adding Relay/cushioning time would be On Duty. Signing yourself off from the night before would be Off Duty. Select the time to start the On or Off Duty event by clicking on the graph and dragging the blue line OR setting the start time using the “Start Time” button. You must select an Asset and location in order to save. Select the asset from the list. Type in the location or populate it automatically by hitting the “location” button. Click Save. The system will prompt you to choose a reason for the change and enter notes. 29


Relay/Cushioning time – iOS or Android App • Click “Add Event,” and select “On” as the status. • Select the Start time by clicking on the graph and dragging the blue line OR setting the start time using the “Start Time” button. • You must select an Asset and location in order to save. Select the asset from the list. Type in the location or populate it using your device’s location services by hitting the “location” button. • In the Additional Comments field, enter “Relay,” “Cushioning,” or some other entry to describe the activity. • Click Save. • The system will prompt you to choose a reason for the change and enter notes. • Once you save completely, you will be On or Off Duty. • When you arrive at your destination, repeat the above process but select “Off Duty” as the event to add. 30
