“ Oasis health care is a live project located in the heart of the city centre F-19 sector 50, Noida. The proposal is a 500 bedded multispeciality hospital containing an emergency and casualty department, radiology department, cardiology, OBG and a paediatric department. The biggest challenge of this project was its irregularly shaped site and access points that had to be tackled during the initial concept stage of the design process. The hospital was designed to keep the efficient circulation of patients, visitors and staff in mind, ensuring the least distance to travel from one department to the other.
Light, ventilation, functionality and user interface circulation are the key elements influencing the design of the space.”

site analysis
sun path wind flow access roads traffic powerline contour
swot analysis
SStrength –
• Strategic location – the proximity of the site to the centre of the city of Noida makes it an ideal location for a hospital.
• Accessibility – access to the site is immediate from the Sector 50 Metro Station.
WWeakness –
• Site area – site area is relatively less in comparison to the scale of the project. Less opportunity to have more open spaces on site.
• Site shape – the triangular-shaped site adds a challenge to planning out the form of the building.
site context
OOpportunity –
• Location – potential for the site to be a landmark.
• Contours – the site is relatively flat land with a gradual slope of 2m.
TThreat –
• Noise – intense noise from the vehicles and metro due to its proximity to the main road and the metro station.
• Traffic – high chances of an increase in traffic flow on the main road.

“ Royalle is a mixed-use high-rise building located in Bangalore. The proposal contains a retail podium and a residential and office tower. The main challenge of this project was to incorporate the different uses of the same space without affecting the circulation within. The utmost importance was given to the column layout, the cores, the fire towers and the structural stability of the building. Vertical zoning is done based on public and private spaces. The staggered form help to enhance the aesthetic of the building and to add connectivity with the outside world.”

“Ripple Center for Academics is an education-based institutional campus located next to Bangalore University Jnana Bharathi campus and is developed phase-wise.
A ripple effect occurs when an initial change to the system propagates outward to change an increasingly larger part of the system, like ripples expanding across the water when an object drops into it. Curved architectural forms are free-flowing tectonic elements. They imply movement while symbolizing organic and abstract relationships. The master plan is designed to mimic the ripple effect. The academic and resource centre act as the central point of the campus inter-connected to one another through skywalks, while the admin, staff housing and hostels act as an extension of the academic block, signifying the impact and inter-relation of each building typology.”

interior drawing - master bedroom
Master bedroom
The master bedroom design was done keeping the small space in mind. Floating furniture, mirrors and a light material palette were used to help enhance and enlarge the room.
Family rooms
Since the common areas are used by every member of the family, the space was designed neutrally. Beams and columns are hidden cleverly through wall panelling and false ceiling.

Son’s bedroom
The son is a 13yr old teenage boy who loves neutral, monochromatic dark colours. The room was divided into three different zones - the entertainment zone, the working zone and the sleeping zone, with the help of flooring tiles, ceiling details and a material palette. Concrete finish wall panels and a wooden false ceiling were used to make the space more aesthetic.
