Simple Steps to Opening Your Energy Healing Pathways SIX

You could be aging prematurely. The worst part and the biggest complaint of toxins and mold toxicity is unwanted weight gain and sagging skin as the side effects.

Does this sound like premature aging or aging poorly? It is!

Imagine your body having to handle heavy toxins everyday all day. Because of the stress on your detoxification system, the lymphatics being the key, your body has to dilute and flush the toxins to protect the organs. The easiest place to help in this feat is to store toxins in the fat tissue. With the skin being the largest organ of the body and the farthest from the internal vital organs it is the first place to take the brunt and damage and show aging of the skin through sagging, dehydrating and collagen breakdown.

I will show you the 6 key things you can do to bring your body back to repair, rejuvenate your skin, lose the toxic fat storage and most importantly, repair your lymphatic system. The key is the Stone, custom energized with frequencies to rid, restore and repair.

Hi, I’m Cathy Goldstein, an Acupuncture Physician, practicing functional and energy medicine for over 33 years.

When I was in my mid 20’s I ended up in the hospital. It was one of my biggest life challenges.

Pain, illness, traumas and emotional stress take a real toll on our body, mind and spirit. These stressors show up in the aging process of every cell in our body. They are all contributing factors to premature aging that continues to wreak havoc and is expressed in our posture, skin, face and our emotional being.

This premature aging was showing up on my face. I was clearly looking at least 10 years older than I was by the time I reached the recovery stage of my challenge. Here is a little bit of my story. When I was 26 I was admitted to the hospital at 100 pounds diagnosed with a life threatening state of health. Earlier in the year I had been diagnosed with Crohn’s Disease, a serious intestinal autoimmune disease that often takes lives.

I was extremely sick and near death. After 2 years, 7 surgeries, in and out of the hospital I had learned a lot about myself.

This was one of my defining moments.

The nurses laid me back down after a particular hard and painful moment and as I laid there with my family around me standing in silence watching me panting and sweating from the pain and fear. An overwhelming feeling came over me in the form of a question. That question was; "What am I doing here?" Here, not just the hospital, but so far down the hole that I felt like a helpless invalid with absolutely nothing in my world but the bed I was lying in, the 4 walls of the room and waiting for my next shot of drugs so I could sleep for a couple of hours, all at the age of 26. I then thought; "What do I need to do to get out of this?". All I can say is that at that moment, I changed my mind and knew I was not staying here. This was not it for me! This is not taking me, or defining me!

It took me 3 months to get out of the hospital but I was determined. In fact after I did get out the first time I ended up back in the hospital multiple times and with 6 more surgeries. It was that moment of changing my mind and absolute determination that carried me through the next 2 years of surgeries and the long path to recovery. I worked hard to rehabilitate my weakened body and regain strength and weight. I worked to stretch the disfiguring scar from massive infections from the first surgery that went from my sternum to pubic bone, so I could stand up straight without walking like an old lady with a hunched up back. And after each surgery, I was up within hours doing what I could… walking the halls until I could walk up and down the flights of stairs. I was determined to get out of the hospital every time as quickly as my body would allow so I could continue through rehabbing my physical body. I was not going to give up.

I have never asked myself why this happened to me. I did ask myself many times in the throes of it, what is it I am supposed to learn from this? What is my lesson here? It took me years to figure out that the way I lived my life after those 2 long years came exactly from what I got out of that experience. My lesson, was and still is that I have reaped what I have sowed. I not only had to take responsibility for where I was going but also where I had been.

The major plus: this was the start that led my practice towards the advanced approach of addressing and treating root cause, natural healthcare, energy medicine and specializing in Neuro-emotional treatment.

I am truly grateful for my experience. I refused to have an illness define me. Through my determination, relentless studies and trial and error I have been fortunate to enjoy a healthy life with no signs of Crohn’s disease for over 30 years. My commitment to help and educate is rooted in a relentless strong committed space.

My story is likely not different from your own or someone you know. But the lesson can be learned by anyone moved by a story like this without going through the suffering.

The message in all of those challenges is to ask yourself which would you prefer.

The feather or the sledgehammer?

It had been a long road of denial for me. I had been sick for years until I was insidiously getting worse and worse by the month and then by day. In the end I had signs of deterioration that scared me every time I was faced with the excruciating task of rolling over in bed. With constant pain I was limited in every capacity of my life. When I drove myself to the hospital the day after my 26th birthday, I struggled to not pass out from pain.

Clearly I choose the Sledgehammer

It can take years of practice to recognize the feather in the constant messages we receive from our body, mind and intuition. Listening is the easier part. Taking action is the challenge but necessary if we are going to take care of our body, mind, and emotional being.

This is my commitment not only to myself but a lesson I share because of my commitment to you through the deep root of choosing to practice holistic natural medicine.

Because you are at a Health Summit, congratulations by the way for taking the action steps to start or continue your healing process, you have access to a lot of great programs.

Today I want to make sure you have the tools to help yourself through whichever process or processes you take. You won't find anything like this and I guarantee you results if you take these 6 steps and apply them.

This system will take you a big leap forward to healthy DNA repair and turning back the hands of time. Optimizing your body's potential to repair and rejuvenate is the key to healthy, natural detoxification and a healthy immune system.

You will be introduced to a body sculpting stone that is designed to repair your lymphatic system, giving you the best opportunity for lasting effects. Plus, a healthy lymphatic system is the best way to lose and maintain an optimal weight. The added benefit, natural resculpting of your beautiful body back into shape.

These 6 steps can lighten the load for stress as well. Emotional release and spiritual clarity can be a normal experience as part of a process when you combine body cleansing with lymphatic detoxification.

Important factors are what you give your body since it will need the tools to repair. The journey begins with healthy nourishing foods, plenty of good clean water, rest, meditation, light exercise and breathing consciousness and the ‘magic stone’

I call this 6 step system a purification cleanse because it is a reset. It starts out with a simple lifestyle and process to help reset your body moving it into action.

Step #1 Let's Start With Food

A Purification Cleanse is different from other detoxification cleanses. It starts with a short reset of only 10 days. The goal in this purification process is to eliminate items that can congest the healing/lymphatic system. The lymphatic system is responsible for cleansing, transporting, and assisting every cell in the body.

Cleansing the body and the soul begins with honoring all living beings. To really purify it is best to avoid eating animal products, including dairy and fish. I am not a vegetarian and do not promote eating a strict vegetarian diet. Amino Acids are the building blocks of protein for our body. Our essential amino acids must come from the food we eat and are readily found in animal products such as beef and eggs. Many of these essential amino acids are available in a vegetarian diet but at a much lower scale than what our body requires to repair tissue. It becomes difficult for our body to keep up with the natural breakdown that continues to increase as we get older and our cells start aging faster.

Amino Acids do recycle and take a few days to break down. Ten days without animal protein should not be a challenge for your body. It will give it the chance to clean up some of that sludge that can accumulate from eating dense proteins.

You can eat seeds, especially hemp seed which are high in protein, and a few nuts such as raw walnuts, pecans and almonds. The grains on the list are short grain brown rice and grains that are really seeds such as quinoa and millet. Quinoa is very high in many amino acids. Grains in general can be high in B vitamins replacing the B’s from meat. Good fats and fiber are key to sustaining blood sugar and keeping energy up. Finish your dishes with a sprinkle of olive oil. Use Avocado oil for cooking as it is a high heat cooking oil.

Follow an ORGANIC eating guideline that focuses on whole unprocessed foods like fruits, vegetables, whole grains, and if you can’t do without you can add light proteins such as eggs.

Avoid processed foods and additives, especially foods with chemicals and pesticides. Avoid artificial sweeteners, added sugar, processed or refined sugars, fried foods and simple carbohydrates such as pasta, cereals, and snack foods like chips.

Eliminate alcohol, and limit coffee and black tea to one (8oz) cup per day.

Refined sugar not only defeats the purpose of a cleanse it makes it MUCH harder to stay on track and reap the benefits of feeling increased energy and overall vitality, and can contribute to aging skin. Alcohol can wreak havoc on your blood sugar making you feel hungry constantly. It is best to avoid.

Rule of thumb that works great; one ingredient food; no label required. An apple doesn't require an ingredient list.

This type of diet typically ensures you are moving your bowels at least 1 time per day. The bowels are one of the detoxification organs.

Most importantly, to help your body in the process of decreasing toxic load make sure to eat organic!

Step #2 Drink Good, Clean Water

Drink good clean water and avoid plastic bottles.

Water is the most important nutrient to the body. Without water we would not have life on the planet. One of the body's communication systems is through the electrical system. We are electrical. Water increases conductivity, increasing every function in the body! Low hydration inhibits the body's ability to detoxify. It can be compared to trying to move mud and sludge through our system rather than having a beautiful flow of a river.

Here is an important and easy rule of thumb: drink approximately 2.5 to 3 liters of water per day. Or 9 to 12 glasses of water depending on your weight and environment.

This is what I tell patients everyday I am in the clinic. Pick out a large glass or stainless container you will be using to gauge your water intake. Make sure you know the volume it holds. You will be filling your container with good clean water. Pour from the larger container into smaller glasses to drink. Refill the larger container to reach the required amount per day. It is much less overwhelming and it's easier to get your 9 to 12 glasses of water. Plus you get to celebrate the little wins throughout the day.

Remember urinating is the most common route of elimination. Make sure to keep up on hydration. Drink extra water anytime you do a detox to aid in flushing the toxins from your system.

Tip: High volume of urination is a sign that your system is on toxic overload. As you repair your detox systems your body will start utilizing water and your system can flush

Step #3 Breath and Breathing

Incorporate breath work throughout your day.

Every single cell in our body requires oxygen to stay alive and even more to thrive. If air were a nutrient it would certainly be number one. Priority is gauged on how long one can survive without it.

Here is a simple breathing technique for anytime night and day.

Most people either hold their breath or breathe very shallow into the top of the lungs. To really supply the cells the oxygen they need it is vital to take deep breaths filling the entire lung area. This is called Diaphragmatic breathing. Rather than the chest lifting with each breath in, the belly should push out with the in breath. This requires engaging the abdominal and stomach muscles actively pulling the diaphragm down with each inward breath.

Overall diaphragmatic breathing lowers the stress response decreasing overactive cortisol and other stress reactive hormones that cause inflammation, activate auto immune response, depression and unwanted weight gain.

Slow diaphragmatic breathing

Sit or lie flat in a comfortable position. Put one hand on your belly just below your ribs and the other hand on your chest.

Take a slow deep breath in to the count of 10. In through your nose, letting your hand on your belly rise with the in breath

Hold for 10 seconds

Slowly Breathe out through pursed lips as if you were whistling to the count of 10

Repeat 3 to 10 times.

Initially it may feel like you are fighting your breath by pushing out your belly with the in breath. After your body learns the process through muscle memory it will take no effort at all and your energy will increase just by increasing oxygen to all of the cells.

Set a timer to do a few minutes of diaphragmatic breathing every hour.

The lungs are another of key detoxifications organs.

Step #4 Exercise

Moving your body especially with breath changes your body chemistry. It resolves pain and balances hormones, mental clarity, digestion, sleep and so much more.

It doesn't need to be difficult or take a lot of time. Start with SunRise Salutation. Get outside for a stroll in the fresh air. It's a great time to add in some breathing exercises to help calm the busy head, detox through the lungs and push our nervous system into parasympathetic rest and digest rather than sympathetic fight or flight.

INVERSION: the action of being upside down Incorporating some inversions in your day is a great way to help your vascular system and lymphatic system return fluids to the heart. They both have to work hard against gravity when we are standing or sitting. Inversions as in ‘downdog’ in yoga or an inversion table are a great break and help to push your ‘return’ flow of both systems to the heart. Even if you are limited in motion, sitting in a chair and hanging your head down is helpful.

Put together your walk with your meditation and take a walking meditation. It can be guided or simply focusing on slowly breathing in and out to your walking rhythm until you get into a meditative state of calm.

20 to 30 minutes 1 to 2 times a daycarea vital part of your repair.

Step #5 Sleep

Sleep is one of the most important processes for our body to repair and regenerate.

There are many diseases associated with chronic poor sleep patterns. Our brain lymphatic system called the glymphatic system detoxifies only while we sleep.

Benefits to good sleep can boost:

Immune system

Mood

Metabolism

Memory

Physical response time

Mental response time

The key to good sleep patterns is routine.

Stop eating after dinner

Set a sleep schedule that allows for 7 to 8 hours

Turning off all electronics including phone, TV, computer, tablets after 8pm

In Chinese medicine 10 pm is the best bedtime

Incorporate a Breathing meditation at bedtime

If your mind is still busy after 20 minutes of relaxation, reading a mentally relaxing book can help.

Note: it may take a few days of consistency to achieve a good night sleep and sleep pattern. Be patient and try not to add a negative story as to what might happen if you don't get a good night sleep.

Step #6 Sculpting & Lymphatic Drainage

In today's world we are exposed to too many toxins in our outdoor environment, in our home as well as what we put on and in our bodies. Stressful emotions are one of the biggest contributors to our toxicity.

Our body is designed for elimination but often we get stuck and bogged down. Our energy and function slows down especially in our elimination and lymphatic system. Toxins build up and we get sluggish. After a short while we start losing our bodies function to adequately detox on its own.

Lymphatic detox and repair is how you can slow and even reverse the signs of the aging process. Detoxification and purification can aid in weight loss, antiaging, improved digestion, decreased anxiety and stress, and aid in overall cellular repair.
