Dr Rainer Gruessner

Dr Rainer Gruessner has received numerous accolades during the course of his career in medicine. He received the Innovation Award from the University of Arizona, where he was appointed Chair of the Surgery Department at its College of Medicine in 2007. Gruessner also received the Physician of the Year Award from the Pima County Medical Association. He is the 2014 President-elect of the Arizona Chapter of the American College of Surgeons. He received his medical and surgical training in Europe and in the U.S.
