Organizing and Implementing the School Counseling

It is essential for a school to have a counseling program. They provide resources, support, and nurturing to students throughout elementary and secondary school. Elementary school is an essential time for children to develop their social skills outside of the home. In the first few years of school, students learn social skills that prepare them for interacting with other students and adults.

OBJECTIVES As a result of this program, children will acquire the skills and attitudes necessary to succeed in elementary school. The emphasis will be on developing decisionmaking skills, increasing awareness, and exploring career options. Students will enhance their skills and develop their self-concept throughout the program.
