CES7 Cofounder Charles Santacrose Succumbs to Heart Failure; Charity Donations Suggested No More Poverty, its co-founders Dr. Michael Omidi and Julian Omidi along with their mother Cindy Omidi sadly recognize the loss of their friend and charitable partner Charles E. Santacrose, President and Founder of Charitable Endowment Support (CES7) who passed away on August 30, 2013 at the age of 60. In the last year, No More Poverty and CES7 cooperatively sponsored two medical missions to help disadvantaged people in the Philippines by providing free medical care. Operations for Hope is a new joint humanitarian program that will build upon the success of these missions, sending more life-saving medical teams to third world countries around the globe. “I remember Charles, waiting for us outside the operatories after long cases with the brightest smile and a strong high five. He would remind us about the good we were doing, the distance the patients traveled to get to us, the despair they had, and the gratitude they have now. He was a good man with a good heart and will be missed.” according to Dr. Michael Omidi, cofounder of No More Poverty. “Together our charities have been able to do tremendous things and we look forward to carrying on that tradition of good and meaningful work in his memory. Charles was an exceptional human being who will be sorely missed.”

Santacrose’s true passion was the charity, Charitable Endowment Support (CES7) he cofounded with Yolanda Abaca in 2011 with the intent of providing orphaned, abandoned, disadvantaged and destitute children and their caregivers throughout the world with a full spectrum of assistance. “The CES7 team is truly heartbroken to have lost Charles during this eventful period where we have been a part of such a hugely successful humanitarian effort. Charles was pleased that CES7 had brought healing to so many, many people.” says David Mohr, President of CES7. “Our relationship with No More Poverty and the Omidi family is precious to us and our extraordinary ability to work well together in cooperative missions will continue.” More information about the charity Charles directed with great diligence and compassion can be found at http://www.ces7.org. Santacrose was extremely proud of the organization’s many accomplishments.
