In Spring 2014, the Public Health Team were approached by a representative of the Strategic Board for the Rehabilitation of Offenders to ask for them to carry out a review of offender health services in Norfolk, providing a picture of how the services fit together and are developing following and during major structural change.
The report was timed to provide a baseline of offender health services and statistics to inform commissioning priorities for 2015/16. However, with tight timescales, the project team were unable to carry out primary research so used existing reports updated with new data where possible, plus an extensive programme of interviews to develop the report.
